They preach a different gospel.

Not sure exactly, Neil. What I've stated is in regard to my interpretation of the New Testament and the understanding of Christians who lived long before me.

Baptism is in most cases administered by the pastor of the church. However, I wouldn't object to another baptizing in the case of necessity(lack of pastor, remote area, etc).

Hmm...the indwelling of the Holy Spirit seems to be teaching others a very different view though, which view I hold. Unconditional security is a false doctrine and quite new in the church's history. However, like I said, true believers are saved. Unbelievers aren't, and if one later professes unbelief, they have a hot reservation waiting for them in eternity.

Ha, I didn't know I loved my horoscope. Another generalization by the media.

Hmm...I don't have a problem with unions. I say the guy has an axe to grind with schools and teachers. Maybe they aren't so fond of his computer products. Perhaps instead of the teachers, bad computer designers should be fired.

True believers are saved and will be saved. The unbelievers and false professors of their "faith" aren't saved.

I believe immersion to be the primary or preferred mode, but pouring or sprinkling is acceptable in extreme cases such as handicapped people and climatic conditions(low water supply, extremely cold water, etc.)

They should be barred from partaking of the sacraments, regardless whether Catholic or Protestant.

What a disgrace, is right! Open the Bible, believe it, and know the true saving Christ--the LORD Jesus, not De Jesus!

Hi, Walt! Good seeing you again.

I suppose, Cindy, it's when the current heavens and earth are done away, that God will also destroy those who destroyed the earth as John testified in Revelation. You can call it propaganda. I call it basic chemistry and physics, which I've already stated: Increase certain gasses, even ones that God never created which trap heat...and...well, it happens--up goes the heat. This isn't about Al Gore either. And there's plenty of propaganda on your side also.

If there were no such thing as global warming, as Cindy asserts, the earth would be very cold at night...like -200. And chemistry and physics demonstrate that certain ingredients in the atmosphere trap heat. And further there just may be severe snows even with a warmer atmosphere, because warmer air holds more water and when that air cools, down comes the moisture, as snow or rain..also warmer lakes will put more water vapor into the air, and thus heavy snows when temps are still below freezing. And given the nature of how this warming is taking place, the upper layers will actually get colder and the surface layers will get warmer, and so there may be severe cold spells dropping from above down to the earth's surface. As for God controlling climate...well,sure, but it's also testified He will destroy those who destroy the earth and this global warming is about morals and healthy air, so you're point is rather mute. At least one of the gases doing this warming isn't even known to exist naturally, so evidently your proposition about God controlling climate without environmental concern on the human side really is quite void of truth.

Yep, it could just be that global warming. Cold spells going over warmer waters will do just what has been happening...lots of snow..and also warmer air holds more water vapor and if it cools..down it comes. Basic chemistry and physics is what it amounts to, this warming. Global warming does not mean everything will not be below freezing or that there will not be cold spells or major snowfalls.

If the PC-USA would stand for one truth and one set of morals, it would probably see growth instead of decline.

IPods? Ban them at crossings? Sure. On the other hand, some folks drive so rediculously, it wouldn't matter whether one is wearing an iPod or not...simply cross at your own risk. Basically some folks should be banned from driving to make it fair for banning electronic devices to pedestrians.

Neil, I was being a little sarcastic about wrinkles and cracks. I am aware of how fast mountains and other landforms can take shape. God created the earth quite literally and one day we'll know just how old this planet really is, I believe.

Hmm...Earth? How old? Well when I look out my window I see wrinkles going up thousands of feet; we call those mountains; and not far away are deep cracks. Must be very old, that's for sure .

Hi Mike. As often happens, when it's cold east of the Rockies, it gets warmer here....feeling like Spring, but yeah, I see you all are in somewhat of a deepfreeze there.

I don't worship football...I hardly watch TV and find football rather boring anyway.
