This is sick, perverted and a sign of the evil times in which we live. If these corrupt bureaucrats and politicians continue to pervert and remove normal moral standards from society, we can only expect other aspects of everyday life to become vile and depraved.
Clearly these politically correct bureaucrats are blind to the obvious and deluded. The church of course is so liberal in the main stream denominations that we can't expect much help from them either. Surely these dark days, with sadly, worse to come are unusual in all history. What can we imagine is the future for our children and grandchildren?

May God help us.

Gen 18:20 "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know."

Come Lord Jesus, come soon.

So much for progress?

Are we in western regression because the Lord no longer blesses nations which reject His Son?

Proverbs 3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but HE blesseth the habitation of the just.

Talking to God daily and "hearing" His Word are equally important. I feel that you cant separate the one from the other, by suggesting one is of more importance.

It is true to acknowledge that the ring is not required for any Christian symbolism.

But the whole issue raised with this item is that clearly the Muslims are being favoured, with more dress rights than the Christian.

The reason for this is that the ring was banned because of the schools "uniform policy" - Yet there is no way that traditionally and historically this English school uniform included the muslim hijab (head scarf) and it's "statement".

Therefore somewhere in the recent past this school CHANGED their uniform rules to embrace that "statement" by the muslim female's hijab.

Sadly we can be sure that this school will go on to teach and embrace the sexual perversions and "teaching" which this country now suffers, due to less Christian influence and decent morals.

Judging by the article's slant this bag over the head is fermenting discontent among the indigenous masses.
Whereas in eastern nations it has been common in their history, here in the west it is an affront to our hard fought freedoms. Women believe they have fought and won a battle for suffrage and inclusion into society, but this is a step back too far. The freedom and rights which these people have come to the west to seek, is being rejected by the very people who left all that behind.

Well what do you know!
Boys and Girls ARE different.

I wonder why it is that the scientists, teachers and other academics take so long to find out what history has known since time immemorial?

This relates to why the Lord uses the male and female in differing functions and roles, within society.

And after all HE did make us different.

We see a man hitherto totally indifferent to the things of the Spirit, disinterested in hearing or reading the Word of God, avoiding Christian company, and shunning all discussion of spiritual matters, suddenly showing an interest, genuinely, earnestly, often unashamedly.

It is sporadic and evanescent at first. We, the observers, become excited, wondering if our friend is already born again; but we learn by many disappointments to be cautious and not prematurely hopeful. But we ought to be hopeful!

It may not be birth but conception that has taken place and these are the twistings and turnings of a healthy but yet unborn organism which God has engendered and which in due time He will bring to birth.

We dont hear much about Christian activities in Japan. But I just did a google search and image search for "church in Japan" and was quite surprised to see a lot of mission work and established congregations, (various denoms of course), planted out there.

God's blessings be with them.

Proverbs
31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

etc... etc... etc.. etc.

We already know the value of wife and motherhood from the Old Testament.
Pity modern man and woman is so ignorant of the truth taught by God.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

"Pedestinated" kids must do as well as they are "predestined" to do, by the hand of God regardless of parents or their own attendance of church!!!
Surely God blesses His own?

After all the promise is....

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Pity!! The Lord actually speaks to these ladies in His Bible. He refers to them as "goats" and states....

Matthew 25:46 And these (the goats) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous (sheep) into life eternal.

I think the Book, you didnt read ladies, has this message for you "Go to Hell."

On election and this man Dahmer. From our perspective it seems he was "sent" to earth murdered 17 people, went to prison and - "got saved"
Obviously not the best of witness statements for the church?

I appreciate your statement on God can save whom He chooses, but righteousness and justice seems to be thrown out of the window, if this is truly the case.
How does it serve God's purpose to send a murderer to any community?

May I just ask you, Do you accept and believe the doctrine of unconditional election?

Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love"

If you do? Then how do you reconcile Jeffrey Dahmer's acts with his being one of the chosen?

PS Not trying to be awkward, just asking.

"But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick."

Isn't Jesus also referring here to recognition of symptoms of the "ailment" - a very crucial element to seeking repentance?
