My interest is to promote the cause of Jesus Christ in reaching a lost world with the gospel and defend the faith.

What happened here? The basis of Chrsitian fellowship shifted from "faith in Christ" to "faith in a translations." Some IFB Christian have gone so far is to exclude from their fellowship with other IFB, Protestant, or Evangelical Christians if they do not have the KJV. Some have taken the Bibles from these saints hands at the entrance of the Church and placed a KJV in their hands...or turned them away if they will not bring in a KJV. Cont...

B. DEFINITION

We are a group of people who believe the Bible and assemble as an independent Baptist Church. Paul stated in Romans 10 his purpose "my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved" and then goes on to show how they can be saved apart from the Law...and that the Law bore witness to this "since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law." Romans 3:30-31

So yes...Jordan Vally Baptist has ties to the Boise area.

The gospel is found in the Bible...and even films like this...cannot capture the majesty and glory of this message. It can only be preached...one on one...from door to door.

Christians who get indebted just to have a certian lifestyle...and pays only the required minimum payment and adds other debts...is not using the means wisely...and becomes a servant to the lendor. Their witness will be tarnished and they will add stressors to their lives that will take their eyes off of living for God.

So to answer their questions I bought the book. I was troubled right from the introduction the liberty Pastor Warren took with the Bible...and his use of Eugene Petersons perversion called "The Message." I kept notes and did further research on Pastor Warren and looked into book reveiws...pro and con. What I did not know at the time was that my pastor at Intermountain Baptist (CBC) and the board were deciding on whether to join the 40 Days of Purpose Campagin. So I emailed Pastor Dean my concerns and let him know if the Church accepted the PDL I would have to end my membership. He agreed there were problems...but he felt he could manage them. In the end PLD came in and I left. In taking a stand against PDL has alienated me from many Christians on the Evangelical side. They get highly offended when I point out the problems of PDL as if I am not qualified to discern truth from error. But I have not been seeing good fruit come from it since it has come out.

So I desire another relationship...but know I will not get any support from my Church. I am working for lady friends...not wife number 3. I do not know if this is God's will for another re-marriage. Provided I do not get back into the dysfuntional relationships I had in the past. But it has been frustrating finding a Chrsitian lady who loves the Lord, is mature in the faith and is not put off by my past failures.

So the area of prayer is where I am weakest at...and work the hardest to fix and yet not make much in the way of progress.

Still have to find a chronology of Jesus' life I agree with yet. But since I cannot...I just read Matthew, Mark, and John without any chronology.
