This testimony below shows just how changing diet can cure an illness like arthritis. I'm talking about a 100% cure. On this site are similar testimonies of how cancers were cured, along with a thousand and one other ailments.

The brother who started this hallelujah diet (when he was diagnosed with colon cancer) was introduced to the vegan and juice diet by the late Lester Roloff, one of the staff-picked preachers here on SA. It is remarkable how fast his one-man campaign to teach health God's way has grown.

Good for you John! The diet is a great detox. It wouldn't agree with me full time though since I'm part of the PETA (People Eating Tasting Animals) club!

Sure thing! The Hallelujah Diet is revolutionary. All these pills produced by antichrists to make them big bucks would never be needed if folks would stick to the original diet instituted by the Lord.

Turnipsquash

Ha! That's a good one. But no, I am not a champion at anything, alas. Just a turnip who juices.

Water is first....tea follows at a close second or ties with fruit juices.

Thanks for that historical tidbit, Neil.

After watching Cadillac Desert on PBS
I was under the impression that nothing good resulted from receding water levels in the American Southwest.

I would expect residents and expecially
visitors to Arizona to drink LOTS of
water. That is one HOT state.

It is AMAZINGLY easy to get hooked on
alcohol. At least it was for me.

I had no issues to speak of, but I
knew that having a drink would make
me feel even better than I already,
generally did. (Hedonism on my part?)

My best friend's humiliation, sickness,
and eventual death from alcohol helped
to deliver me from my addiction.

I didn't even know I was addicted until
I tried to lose weight by reducing my
beer intake--only to find that it was
exceedingly difficult for me to do so.

This is why I strongly recommend that
people just stay away from alcohol
altogether, weather or not you believe
that drinking alochol is a sin.

I'm still addicted to coffee, but this
does not appear to be near as serious.

It is our custom here to bring water bottles w/ us when we go out, esp. in summer. My family has abandoned soft drinks.

Tucson used to have a mosquito problem until its ground water was pumped down. In the 19th century, more cavalry troops died of malaria than from Apache attacks!

I have been drinking diet root beer all night. Thanks be to God!

Jesus said,"I was thirsty and you gave me drink."

God's Word also says, "He who refreshes, himself will be refreshed."

Refresh someone today!

For Christ says, "As you have done to the least of my brethren, you have done unto me."

A Church in my town has a children's fair every summer, the whole community is invited and gives away free bottled water to people.

What does it say on thier water bottle labels?

On one side their Church name, address, ph#, web site and name of their Pastor. In the middle of the label is a picture of a clay pot.

On the other end of the label it says:

"Every person who drinks this water will be thirtsy again; but whoever drinks the water Jesus gives will be satisfied." John 4:13-14

May God bless them in thier outreach!

Andrew,

I praise the Lord for you testimony of deliverance and thanks for sharing that.

We have several in our church who had been delivered by their willingness to trust the Lord and yielding their addiction into His mighty hand.

In reply to BH. As to alcohol, I was an alcoholic and was delivered of this terrible addiction through the Lord God who answered the prayer of brothers and sisters. Yes, not all Christians are necessarily teetotalers as I once was not. My addiction came from fighting in a terrible war, and losing my land of birth and a marriage break up and I sought solace in alcohol. The reading of the scriptures gave me repeatedly the truth on this matter - particularly in Proverbs. The faithfulness (and no finger pointing by)of Christian brethren who joined in prayer to support my first steps in abstinence was a gift from God indeed. I give thanks that I can praise my Lord that I need no country but am an alien in this world.

Secondly, more important than boasting our holinesses though is what are we doing to publicly proclaim the gospel of Christ apart from the usual sanctimonious Christian piety which is used as an excuse to proper proclamation by Men of God.

Andrew Hall,
Member of Christian Watch - a Protestant Reformed Organisation,

What, no alcohol?

I repented of the stuff after the Lord saved me and have had no desire for the stuff.

What a strange topic!!! I had to put water, as I essentially have tea or coffee - not included in this survey - or just plain water.
