Idea: In Jesus the Kingdom of heaven has come, but evil remains. But that won't always be the case. J will come again and will separate out the wicked for judgment and His children for eternal life. Be patient, therefore, looking to Jesus to sustain you in your Christian life.
Intro: Doriani, “The story is often told of certain POWs in WW II who managed to construct a radio from bits and scraps and hide it in their bunk. The radio told them that the war was over four days before messengers and liberators reached their camp. For four days they knew victory would surely arrive. During those four days, no aspect of their outward circumstances changed. But what joy they shared! How much more should we rejoice in the victory of Christ and take strength from it, even if the works of evil linger.”
