There are degrees of love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Some love Him more than others and it DOES matter.

There are also two, future resurrections to consider: The resurrection of life and the resurrection of damnation.

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (John 5)

In a way it is curious how the sodomite disease is spreading through western countries.
Until one notes the corresponding decline in the church.
All the areas of societal authority are attacked - legislation, justice, education, industry are all being used to bend people to the new moral position of acceptance. Each of course being applied to a rejection of the "discrimination" to be found in Christianity. Alienation of the Church is clearly a goal in this modern society.
BUT
Prov 29:16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
Prov 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

The battle will continue to rage.
