Funny "Hyjack the Thread"....that is all you men do here so please continue pontificating your "brilliance", you men are just too perfect and too scholarly for me.

Another case of self-righteous pharisees. I'd rather sup with the strippers than dine with a bunch of pompous arrogant a-holes.

Continued....

I grew up in a household of Christian men that acted more like children than grown men and hardly sent an example of loving a woman that to this day I refuse to get married. I was constantly criticized and made to feel like I was inferior and stupid and my only worth was looking "pretty". My own dad walked out of the family when I was 11 and my oldest brother's greatest skill was criticism, probally due to his own insecurity.

Remember in the OT that God sent out women prophet because the men just were not getting it done which clearly we can see is the problem today....the falling away of the elect and a growing apostasy and ecumenical dung.

So maybe all those calvinist out there should wonder why some of the elect are falling away.

To the "Christian" men out there,

Please remember that there are both foolish women and men out there. I have seen enough foolish, ridiculous behavior coming from men who professed to be Christians and spiritual leaders in which women are supposed to follow that I have been left gasping for air. Do you know how many Christian men have abused women and have walked out on their families or who spend more time promoting their ministries than spending time loving their wives and children which leads to neglect. My own dad wal

Unfortunately many men have failed terrribly in their so called leadership roles that women should not follow or learn from like Dobson for example. After he praised the Pope John Paul after he died I sent them an email that clearly he is being seduced by the dead church of "Thyatira" or continual sacrifice in which Jesus Himself wrote a letter to and severely condemned in Revelation. They sent me an email back and said "doctrine is not the issue at least from our perspective". Well that certainly is not from God's perspective and Dobson is among many men in so called "spiritual leadership" postions

So please do not tell me that women need to spend more time in the scriptures than the internet. I have seen more men pontificating their brilliance than women

MBL,

Yes, woman must appear foolish to your brilliance I am sure. It's too bad we don't trip over brilliance like you do because we are foolish.

You sure do a disservice to the men out there. Please try and act your age if possible.

Yeap I know everybody is going to get ticked off because I am here again but oh well, I don't care.

JD if you want to honor your God and your Savior and you say let God be true and every man a liar then you need to carefully read Roman chapter 5 which talks about sin entering the world through one's man disobedience. Every child born is born into sin because of what Adam did. That is not an opinion...that is what it clearly says in Romans 5 and that is what God says. You may not like that but it is what scripture says

JD

If you feel that those who are calvinistic or reformed or baptist in their theology or that your 1:00 post is the doctrine of every baptist and calvinistic seminary clearly you are wrong. Perhaps you are just trying to be facetious but obviously what you have said is nonsense.

JD,

Do you see anything wrong with your statement here down below?............

"Jesus was just a man like us who became the Son of God when he rose from the dead. Before that, He was not God's Son, and He never was God Himself. He was just a man like us who became the Son of God at his resurrection".

Does anyone see the heresy in this?

I am not calling you a heretic JD but what you just said here is heretical.

Jesus was God from His birth to His death to His resurrection.

The Bible....a.k.a. "the Diary of a Mad Planet"......

We are all a bunch of rebels and misfits and pyschotic messes apart from Christ.....is it any wonder God chose to save any of us?

I can't believe God puts up with any of this nonsense down here. Once those sodomites take over with the ACL backing them up I think then God will wrap this up. Just like in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah. When sodomy was paramount, God rained down His judgement.

Lets get out here and go where normal people live and finally be rid of the flawed flesh and decaying body.

Oh and the mideast is sitting on a boiling pot...they're about ready to start slugging nukes at each other.

Coming across these blogs in the internet world is tantamount to entering a minefield in Southeast Asia. It like fighting the japs during WWII....there's no end in sight!!! It's also like those IED's (Internet Explosive Devises) in Iraq.

I can't wait to get out of satan's garbage can and go where normal people live....everything down here is abnormal. The Christian life is tantamount to a marathon. As a runner myself, thank God I never trained for speed. No I trained for endurance because that is what you need when dealing with other believers and this crummy world.

Until then the battle rages on so endure hardship like a good soldier.

Michael,

There is a great book and easy to read that you could perhaps give to your mother if she likes to read that is. It's called understanding roman catholicism. It's written by a former catholic who God rescued from that darkness. His name is Rick Jones. If you go to chick.com web site you can get it there. Rick Jones writes in a loving, compassionate fashion and addresses all the errors in catholicism
by placing them juxtaposed to scripture.

Another good book to share to catholics to witness to is: answers to my catholic friends by Thomas Heinz also at chick.com.

I am sorry to hear your mom is not saved, but certainly keep telling her the truth and pray for her. I know God will bless you with an answer from a sincere heart.

You know Michael, God has saved many out of that babylonian system and has used them to witness to other catholics not yet saved. Charles Chiniquy, a former priest wrote a book also about his conversion and about the 50 yrs. he spent in the "church" of Rome.

Michael,

When I was 4, my mother felt it was time for me to receive Jesus as my Savior so she came to me and told me what I needed to do and in my stubborn pride and strong independent personality I folded my arms over my chest and said "no, I don't need Jesus".

That night my mother prayed for me and on that same night the Lord sent me a dream. I dreamed that I got hit by a truck while crossing the road and died and then went to Hell.

In the dream, Hell was a very real place and scared my so bad that I cried out to Jesus to save me and He did. He pulled me out of that pit with His righteous right hand and saved me. From that day forward I knew Jesus was a real person because His spirit came inside me and His presence was very real at that time and still is.

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Michael,

I have been saved for 30 yrs. The Lord saved me when I was 4 and I had a pretty unique experience in my salvation at that time. If you would like to hear it, I will be happy to share it.

How long have you been saved?

Michael,

I think the calvinist who may not display an attitude of love could perhaps be those who are "hyper" in their calvinism.

I definitely lean toward calvinism or reformed in my theology but I sure am not "hyper" in it and I have no hatred toward those who disagree with reformed theology. I am a strong advocate for preaching the gospel everywhere, where ever you are, any opportunity you have, for no one...including calvinists.....are omniscient. Who knows who are the elect except God so therefore we are commanded to preach the gospel to everyone.

And yes, you are right we all have to stop and think how much we all need God's forgiveness through His Son. It takes the same amount of grace to redeem a calvinist as it does an arminist..... from God's perspective anyway.

JD,

"The futility is overwhelming"........

Debating calvinism and arminism is like trying to run 100 marathons (26.2 miles) back to back. It is extremely exhausting. Christians should learn to agree to disagree on that. But compromising with Rome as in the light of ECT, that should not be compromised...that in my opinion is treason.

There are some very strong points made in calvinism or reformed theology and those who are in opposition to it, also have strong points. Nevertheless, you are correct in saying, "the futility is overwhelming"!!!!

I guess my goal or aim is to strive for balance.

Yamil,

The day I understand Calvinism is the day I become a calvinist. Dude, you make me laugh. I mean no disrespect by calling you dude, only to keep the conversing light. I grew up in a household of Christian men, no sisters, so I am too familiar with the word dude.

By your statement though, I would imagine there are many people who think they are a calvinist but don't even fully understand it. Nevertheless, I can't stand identifying myself with a certain "camp" or "group" with a label. Just only what the scriptures say, because the scriptures are not flawed....unlike human flesh.

Have a good evening everyone!
