you might ask why so many Bible companies push an uncopyrighted, outdated version, q.v., Why I Do Not Think the King James Bible Is the Best Translation Available Today, because they don't have to any royalties?
The Word of God, King James Version, is kept alive and maintained by GOD Himself as HE has done so for four hundred years. Praise be to God for an inerrant translation of HIS truth being available for us today.

Psalm 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

Put it this way an accurate dynamic equivalence (FE?) done accurately is much better than a literal translation done from poor source!

“ A Warning we need to heed ”
What would we think of a description of a young man who confessed to us, "I read my Bible more than twice through in less than a year, spent much time every day in prayer and other secret duties, gave great attention to the word preached, and endeavored to my utmost to retain it. So much concerned was I about religion, that I agreed with some young persons to meet privately on sabbath evenings for religious exercises, and thought myself sincere in these duties; and after our meeting was ended, I used to repeat the discourses of the day to myself; recollecting what I could, though sometimes very late at night. I had many thoughts of joining the church." - This is a description of David Brainerd BEFORE he was converted. Is it any wonder the local church is in decay when only half-converted converts are making its every decision?
