Thank You! How lovely it is to hear Reverend Stewart preach while seagulls call in the background! I really needed to hear this today because I have been murmuring and complaining about my current situation. Praise be to the LORD, who gave to his loyal servant Reverend Stewart these precious words. May we all hear, and be uplifted. The LORD is in charge!
Thought-provoking Sermon It saddens me greatly that the Reformed Presbyterian witness is so fragmented and the more especially today, when we see how degenerate our nations have become and how worldly and apostate much of the Gentile Church is. I agree entirely in-principle with the thoughts you have expressed in the portion of the Word that has been before us in this sermon. However, while the four denominations’ you mentioned may very well be the same in doctrine and worship, the matter of ‘practice’ is most likely where we have disagreement. We need and pray for an outpouring of the Spirit that divisions may be healed in accordance with Scripture and sound Biblical practice.
Great sacrifice. It was good to listen to this message and to meditate again on the great sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for a sinner's salvation, like me.
Looking forward hearing more Thank God for you laboring in the word and sharing this with us all. As the event of the raising of Lazarus has such a great depth and with these 2 sermons touching a few facets of it, am I praying & looking forward to hear more from you regarding this; God willing! In any case may He bless & keep you all!
Greetings from a brother in Christ behind the bamboo curtain.
A Fervent Plea I'm sure I speak for many when I say it has been an immense blessing to have accompanied Rev Stewart on this journey through Gethsemane, concluding with this much needed and solemn message.
But - there is a sermon missing and so my fervent plea is for the Sabbath Communion service to be uploaded if at all possible, so as to complete this priceless study.
Need to be in fellowship It maybe so we're extra vulnerable when we're isolated but it maybe be also not our own choice. Remember Paul in prison for example. I've been isolated from fellowship for years in a row now, I cannot recommend it, and certainly it is a suffering on its own, but the Lord does meet me here. When I'm wearied due to the lack of fellowship with brethren He does sustain me and keep me when I call out.
I believe the key to survival is to know your own heart, and to request the Lord to always override it and keep on quickening the spirit as He has done when He 1st brought you to life when you were dead in sin.
Thank you for posting and all your work in the Lord. Hopefully you can post part 2 soon; did see it shortly but now it's gone from the list.
Blessings in Jesus's
Part 1 of 2 of this sermon Thank you so much for posting this sermon and thank God for your laboring in Christ. It's the daily bread of life in isolation here in China.
This is part 2 of the sermon, and Pastor Stewart is mentioning the other (morning) session. Could you please be so kind to post part 1 also?
Many thanks in advance and blessings in Jesus's
Superb and Vital One of the best messages I have ever heard about why we should not look back. Memory can be a great liar. Thank you, Pastor. This is so important for all Christians.
Great Sermon! Not for the first time has this brother through his ministry of preaching spoken directly to my Spirit.
All praise is to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Inspiring! Reverend Stewart, bless him, is on fire since he moved to Stornoway! Surely, the Holy Spirit is continuously filling him with the words we need to hear!
SO TRUE! SO IMPORTANT! Everyone. Yes, everyone will worship something and this has always been true. If it is not Christ, front and center, then it will be other things and people and these are idols. This Pastor covers this subject very thoroughly. Listen.
A lovely and encouraging message. This is a lovely encouraging word from Rev. MacLeod about trials. It encourages us to keep seeking the Lord and His wisdom and fatherly hand in His providential dealings with us. Amen!
So true! So true! That feeling inside of Lot. Pastor Stewart accurately compares Sodom and Gomorrah with the world of today and accurately describes many modern churches. They are filled with mocking and the constant desire for entertainment. They are like cruise ships.
