Why does obedience matter to God? If Christ perfectly fulfilled the law, why should we obey? Does it matter?
Yes it does matter - God earnestly desires your obedience. God blesses you with the ability to obey him and abundantly blesses you as you obey.
1. The curse of unbelief includes being unable to please God and having unknowable gods.
2. You, as redeemed people, have the exclusive privilege of loving and obeying God.
3. God loves you so much that he is committed to you obeying him.
4. So that you will obey, God chastens you for sin and blesses obedience.
