SERMON INFO
The fellowship of the church is essential for the health of the body and its vision. Fellowship at its core is the relationship of God being reflected by His saints as they enjoy one another. The fellowship of the saints is a reflection of the perfect fellowship enjoyed by all three persons of the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Sprit. Unity of purpose and mind is not natural to carnal men, and it can only be achieved through the outpouring of that perfect fellowship of the three persons of the Godhead. The fellowship of the church reflects the fellowship that Christ has with His bride, the church itself. Christ models and lives out a perfect fellowship for His people to follow as a standard. Fellowship is a mark of walking in the light and marks the believer as being in Christ. The fellowship that the Holy Spirit has with the individual believer further informs the fellowship of the entire church. The Holy Spirit comforts, encourages, reproves, corrects, and spurs on to greater godliness all those whom He indwells, and the individuals of the Church of Christ are called to reflect and do these same things for one another.
