This is a brief meditation reflecting upon the sacrament of the Lord's Table which was celebrated in the morning service.
The Lord's Supper is considered a means of grace, but the preparation and reflection on the sacrament are also considered a means of grace. We are to meditate and reflect upon what we have received in communing with the Lord and with one another. We are to seriously reflect and consider our success in offering worship the Lord. A number of practical ways to examine oneself are described to the communion participants. We are to bless the Lord God for any benefit we may have derived from our participation in the Table.
