As with the Old Covenant in its outworking with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and David, so the New Covenant was made with Israel, accomplished by Christ and applied by the Holy Spirit. There are also conditional and unconditional aspects to it. However, it is a New Covenant and by nature, nullifies the former covenant. It entails the same parties and same initiating love, but it is a new covenant and new relationship. This is the sixth and final message on the Covenant. |
