    More Sermon Details:
Compared to the prayer for God’s reviving His people in Psalm 60 and Psalm 85, the uninspired Poem "Revive Us Again" by William Paton, MD is shallow. Psalm 60 demonstrates the depth of the departure from God’s Ways, God’s Will, and God’s Word.

Psalms 56, 57, 58, and 59 dealt with the tyrannous reign of King Saul. 2 Samuel 2:1-5:5 demonstrates the civil war between the house of King David and the house of King Saul.

The introduction of Psalm 60 is equally inspired God breathed as the Psalm itself. The introduction provides the setting for the Psalm.
