Ridgefield Park Reformed Presbyterian
J. Bruce Martin
It has often happened in history that God’s people have wanted to make improvements on the worship of God. But this has historically led to problems for God’s people. Rather than improving God’s worship they have detracted from what He wants of us.
One of the results of these attempts is that various travesties such as homosexuality and abortion have been on the rise and have even come into the church. Then, rather than facing the duties of worshipping God as they should, God’s people focus their efforts on fighting the aberrations they have come to face.
We must know who God is and honor Him as such. It should not be difficult to learn who God is and what He wants of us since He has revealed Himself to us in the Bible. But this Word from God is often neglected.
If we are going to be right with the world we must first be right with God—believing what we should about Him and His will and doing what He has given us to do.
Are you right with God? He says we must come before Him through Jesus Christ. This is the only way we can be acceptable to Him. Jesus died receiving the punishment sinners deserve so that those who trust in Him may have life.
