Sermon:
Dealing with Bitterness
Neil C. Stewart
3
comments
“ A ‘must listen to’ sermon for anyone questioning The Lord’s providence. ”
This is a wonderful message of hope for anyone feeling bitter, angry disheartened or discouraged. The story of the Flood family at the beginning and end of the sermon is a wonderful encouragement and example of how the Lord works all things to our good. However, Mr Stewart deals compassionately well with this difficult, but common and, so often, unbroached subject in ministry and fellowships. You’ll be amazed at how the story ends but you’ll need to wait until the end of the sermon for that! Truly, God alone gets the glory, Amen!

“ Oprah is confused! ”
The bible doesn’t condemn short or tall people Oprah, Black or Asian or what other element of a person’s physique you choose to define the way they were born, but the bible does condemn a LIFESTYLE which is a CHOICE, which is what homosexuality is. Please don’t confuse the two: one you were born with (which is why the bible makes no condemnation of these physical attributes) the other you choose (which is why there is clear condemnation of this lifestyle). You won’t be so bold in Hell, Oprah. God’s Word is Truth. Amen.

“ A sound understanding of depression ”
Thank you for this sound exposition on this psalm, which you clearly understand from personal experience. This gives all those listening, with similar experiences, confidence and encouragement from the fact that you speak from your own experience along with spirit-given wisdom. This is a highly encouraging message that I would urge others to hear.

Sermon:
David near despair
Rev Malcolm Watts

comments
“ A word in season for the weary. ”
This sermon will encourage anyone who is near despair with their trials. It was a such a word in season to me and a blessing to my soul. Clearly, Rev. Watts speaks from personal experience as he conveys, so articulately, the sense of desperation that David felt when penning this Psalm and specifically verse 13. You cannot afford not to listen to this!

“ Great Sermon! ”
The prayer alone, at the beginning of this sermon, has enough to challenge one, as a believer. Truly, this is a ‘must listen to’ recording, whether you are anxious or not.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for bringing out into the open, the difficult truths discussed here. Sermons such as these are greatly and especially needed at time when we are being bombarded with the false and dangerous ‘prosperity’ gospel. ‘The Just shall live by His faith’ (Habakkuk 2:4). God bless you!

There are many people here working and praying tirelessly for a negative outcome to the postal vote.

Dear friends in Christ, please pray that a Biblical view of marriage will be upheld here in Australia. Bless you for caring about us.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Micah 5:2 But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
who are too little to be among the clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to be ruler in Israel,
whose origin is from of old,
from ancient days---ESV
Unfortunately the translation in the ESV is corrupted in the last phrase. It should read:

"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
