By having Jesus come under a pagan government and demonstrate submission, God made it so we couldn't have the excuse "well if only He knew what my ruler was like, He wouldn't ask me to respect and submit to him!" This sermon provides so many example of people submitting in the Bible, and shows when it necessary not to submit. "The ultimate goal is to please God."
