If we are at war with each other we need to turn to God's Word;
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.
Roman's 5 is an important chapter. If one sin brought condemnation to all men, what does God demand? Perfection! Once you have fallen short of perfection how do you again attain to perfection? It is impossible except through the blood of Jesus!
Mike from New York said the things mentioned in the article are signs of adulthood. I would be more specific, saying they are signs of responsibility(adult or not). But there seems to be a growing segment of our population that is not concerned with responsibility. Since freedom and responsibility go hand-in-hand you can't destroy one without the other.
I find it interesting how the first five words of the 1st amendment are always ignored by these people;"Congress shall make no law". This is what is expressly forbidden by the First amendment, and this has nothing to do with Congress making a law, just like all their other protests. It only has to do with their hatred of all things God.
I have often thought these people are not very committed to there cause.
Considering we exhale carbon dioxide- targeted as the main component of "climate change"- and their concern for over population, if they would all stop breathing they would be killing two birds with one stone.
I guess everyone else is supposed to be making that sacrifice.
I don't understand why people make the argument that prohibition didn't work. You never hear people saying laws against murder, theft, rape, etc. don't work. Should we advocate to get rid of them?
Laws are not made to eliminate a behavior but to offer a method for punishment.
My guess is they are waiting for a government program to provide glasses to these people, which will provide money for optometrists. They may even have lobbyists working on it.
