"My point is that Scripture states that these signs shall follow all believers."So have all of these signs followed you?
I trough not. So I guess you are not a believer.
You need to do a Bible study of the purpose of miracles. The Bible does not have miracles as an end of itself. The purpose of the miracles is to validate the message and messenger of God. This is why they are called "SIGNS." You see this throughout the Scripture and in Mark 16.
"20And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following."
Tha apostolic age was ushering a new doctrine, new testament, new revelation. And until the Scriptures could be fully written, it was neccessary (as in times past) that the new revelation be confirmed through signs and wonders.
Paul criticized the abuse of these signs in 1 Corinthians and exhorted them not to place so much emphasis on it because the signs and wonders age were going to cease (I Corinthians 13:9-12). In fact by the time I Peter was written it was understood that the written word provided all the revelation we needed for the faith. (I Peter 1:3-3).
I do not have room to post my conclusion...
