Profound sadness, is all one can feel whenever yet another gun tragedy afflicts the USA...
Scotland only on one occasion was afflicted thus, and as a consequence there was the wholesale ban on owning handguns.
From an outsider looking in, you can't help but think the "right to bear arms" must surely be the most abused portion of the USA constitution

As a Brit, I have to say President Trump, obviously less than perfect, like us all!! But am convinced he will grow into the job. And hopefully be a brilliant and God fearing Presidential.
I am shocked that any believer could bring themselves to ever vote for Mrs Clinton!!!

Aye, He is coming soon may it be in my lifetime Lord Jesus.
.
Let the world prepare for its master, Satan, and Father in Heaven forgive me, forgive my heart as it hardens itself against the world.
Revive the fire in me that once burned bright as I sought out the lost.

Not that any of the responders on SA have all answers to all things, nor would any claim to have.
However I am grateful to many for their God given wisdom.
Gods Blessings on all that contribute on the many threads on SA news

I think NO is the correct answer.
BUT, the very near future may indeed, or will in fact, I assert, be a very different matter.
Many in the U.K. Which sais its fine for same sex couples to marry, feel it's but the thin end of the wedge.
As is being debated in Australia, and has been passed already by one branch of government same sex marriage is fine, and in the small print of the same bill, it sais that (I paraphrase) establishments who refuse to marry such, will loose special status. Oh! BTW , that means churches who don't marry same sex ppl, will commit a criminal and as a consequence loose tax exemption status, for starters....
In Scotland we had the Nationilists passing law that churches could opt out, BUT the thinkers here soon put 2+2 together and realised , in a heartbeat Scottish government will go the way Australia is heading... simply because they are followers not leaders as a government .
Apologies for long winded reply, The world is going to hell in a handcart...
And I stress myself, as I do so little in the way of evangelism.
Father have mercy on me.!

To Duckfarmer, given the lack of Bible believing politicians, particularly in an American presidential election, do you think God will be bothered in the final analysis when weighing up your life how you came to a decision on whom to vote for?
There was two candidates both devotees of the capitalist system, one one hand a proven corrupt political liar, on the other hand, an uber successful business man, whom like other uber rich folk got there by being less than 100% honest......
Mr Trump won, many assert, because it was Gods' will....
Obviously we shall never know if that is true or not, but given the choice, should Christians vote for a proven corrupt liar,?
As a believer, albeit living not in the USA my vote is for the dude who pledges to support Israel, not like the previous president who stabbed Gods chosen nation in the back, with Hillary twisting the knife as she supported him
God Bless

The evil one and his cohorts are ever active .
This is just another example it would appear.
It seems in the USA the right will never get a fair report.

You are bang on my brother, we are saddled with the most Israel hating prime minister, my prayer is the Lord does not hold that against us..
To borrow a unpleasant phrase which is sadly used by the Hollywood elite in the US,
NOT MY PRIME MINISTER

This kind of situation can only get worse, I pity children being brought up in modern day by liberals leaning parents...
In Germany it was announced there is a third "tick box" in relation to what you want on its Birth Certificate!!!!!!!
Utter madness, now at birth parents can now tick a box for "gender neutral" So now we have Girls Boys and Gender neutral!!!!
To my horror, my own country Scotland is apparently considering the same.
The Lunatics are truly in charge of the asylum..
Come soon Lord Jesus
PLEASE!

This chap walking out like he did, was making a cheap political point, and it would be rewarding if the people who voted for him last time out. Kik him to the kerb asap.
I love the USA but unless the Lord steps in, real soon. I can honestly see law and order breaking down in short order.
The attitude of some Democrats and the liberal SJW's who are so dumb they don't realise they are being played....
Dostoevsky wrote of liberals, they cannot tolerate and will seek to destroy one whom has a strong opinion, that differs from theirs...
Much prayer is needed for the President, his government and the population of the USA.
The same prayer is needed here in the UK where we have a government who continues to stab Israel in the back, we have a wicked prime minister

I rarely fail to get cross when one reads an article such as this.
In the U.K. Like many other wealthy countries, the give a huge amount of money that "allegedly is for the poorest people"
Meanwhile India has a thriving space programme.!!
My view is that any country that receives aid, it should be given only on the very strict condition; That people should be able to practice "their faith/religion " in peace and safety. Furthermore it should be enshrined in linternational law.
Only Israel of all the countries in the Mid East region that has enshrined in law, that anyone Jew, Christian, Muslim etc are free to practice their faith in peace,
Law does not of course give you guarantees, that extremists won't try to disturb your worship!!!
There isn't another Muslim country that gives believers the freedoms , that muslims demand when they claim "their right" to build mosques etc .
So if you want aid, or to remain a member of the UN then you should be accede to protecting individuals their human right to worship in peace.
Apologies for rambling on.
God Bless
