“ A Must Listen! ”
"The Israelites intermarried with the inhabitants of the land, contrary to the express command of God; whereby they confounded their families, debased their blood, and were ensnared into idolatry." ~John Gill Our multi-faith, multi-cultural, morally relativistic society exists because our people have forgotten the Lord their God. We are being judged for our sin of forgetfulness, and can only expect the situation to worsen unless and until we repent and cry out to God for deliverance.

“ Encouraging Sermon! ”
I am thankful for the encouraging truths in this sermon. I often feel cast down by the pain and suffering which is in the world because of sin. The damaging effects of sin on the earth itself, and especially on uncomprehending animals, can be very disturbing and disheartening for me, as I'm sure it is for others. This sermon reminded me of the precious truth that when the Lord comes again this earth will be renewed and restored to a glorious condition which surpasses even the wonder and beauty of Eden. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." (Romans 8:18-23 KJV)

“ Great Sermon! ”
All those who love the Lord Jesus eagerly await His return at the Last Day, but those who are His enemies are filled with dread at the very thought of it. What will that Day be to you?

Safety In Believing
Rev David Silversides

“ Great Sermon! ”
Sooner or later, judgment will fall on unbelieving individuals and nations. Nations which do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ will be judged in this world, and individuals who do not believe on Him are subject to judgments in this life, and also everlastingly in the world to come. The only escape is through belief of the Gospel, which God has so graciously provided to our sinful world. Have you believed? Are you trusting the Saviour?

What a sad thing it is that Protestants no longer realize the Fourth Commandment forbids the celebration of holy days not commanded by God, and that the Christ Mass is therefore forbidden. How we should pray for another Reformation!

"The reason annexed to the third commandment is, That however the breakers of this commandment may escape punishment from men, yet the Lord our God will not suffer them to escape his righteous judgment." ~Westminster Shorter Catechism To profane God's name is a grievous and heinous sin, yet the Lord will cleanse the guilt from all who sincerely repent and put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Of all the ways in which men take the Lord's name in vain, the worst is in refusing to receive Christ as Saviour and Lord.

Stingy, reluctant, and for show, or generous, cheerful and motivated by love for the Lord Jesus? What does your giving say about your heart? What does it say about the value you place on the glorious Saviour of your soul?

The Authorised Version - 400 Years Of...
Rev David Silversides

“ Great Sermon! ”
Yes, there are hundreds of languages which remain without a Bible translation, and instead of investing our time, money and abilities into this important work we squander our resources on producing inferior English translations to supplant the clearly excellent King James Version. How will we ever answer to God for this poor stewardship of His precious Word?

We’re not sure why so many distance themselves from this book of Luther’s. Not only is it factual as to the character of the Jews and their distortions of Scripture, but it is full of arguments which would be of use, even today, against similar distortions of both Jews and atheists. Everyone really ought to listen to this recording, and, if possible, read the book for themselves.

Man's Thoughts Are Vanity
Rev David Silversides

“ Great Sermon! ”
Human reason, unaided by the Holy Spirit and the light of Scripture, will inevitably lead us to wrong views of God and man. A sincere desire to know the truth will lead to humble, prayerful, study of the Bible. Lord, give us such humble hearts!
