First of all, we don't have Kings, and nothing that really looks like them far as that goes the Founding Fathers didn't want that that's for certain. George Washington rejected the title of King ❗👍I have never mentioned that I was going to disobey all the little Neros that might pop up through history. The governor of California isn't a King or Nero; he still should be obeyed by Californians. I always remember my father making a hasty retreat at an airport, so he didn't have to shake the hand, I think he was a senator. This this was a very good way of handling the situation of avoiding to not show respect for a person. There are certainly people in the government that I would make a much faster retreat than he did if I happen to run across any of them! So, I can't think of any instance where I have shown disrespect to our governor or my mayor, etc. Hopefully that answers your question, Mike? |

Well, if you want to know where I stand on Dr. Rugh's position, I'm probably not in perfect sync with him. We have in this country ways of dealing with bad leaders, legal ones that is, that is true and impeachment and conviction. I'm happy to see that the house did impeach Mr. Trump, in my opinion, the Republican majority of the Senate completely failed in there duty and not convicting him. Well, except for only one Republican of that party. The other method of course, is to vote him out, which I'm happy to see that at least one congressional district in my state went along with that idea as with did the majority of the voters in the country and of the electoral college. ❗👍 So, I'm happy at least to see a different President in office on January 20th. |

Yes, one should be aware that the King James Version was used by the Jehovah witnesses before they came out with their own version. A Bible over 400 hundred years old Is just too antiquated.AND BIBLE Has the NASB, which is accurate as you can get, and there are individual Bible programs For the 1984 NIV, The ESV, and the NKJV---All excellent versions of the Bible. For good or ill, AND BIBLE app Has the KJV, Strong's Numbers, Vines etc. You should read the following: "Why I Do Not Think the King James Bible Is the Best Translation Available Today" https://tinyurl.com/3a2m84 |

A church still isn't a grocery store❗👎😷☣️
Jamie Aten, Kent Annan wrote: .... Some have argued that being in proximity to others at church is no different from being in proximity to people at the grocery store or bank. But it is different. While business is primarily transactional, the life of a church congregation is inherently social. We gather to worship God, but we also gather to connect with one another. Unless we run into a close friend, we don’t normally shake hands or hug someone in the grocery store or movie theater, but where a community of people is knit together spiritually and socially these interactions happen frequently. In addition, formal rituals, such as sharing in communion or pausing during a service to shake hands or hug, obviously increase the risk of infection. But such rituals aren’t the only risk of worship services. Singing in a group, which is integral for many congregations, has been known to spread COVID-19.... excerpt from, "Just because the economy is reopening doesn’t mean churches should"https://tinyurl.com/y7nvhgwq |

.... "In South Los Angeles, where Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital serves low-income communities populated with grocery clerks and bus drivers who live in crowded households and are forced to mix with the public every day, infection rates are far higher. In Los Angeles County, roughly 15 percent of coronavirus tests in recent days are positive; at a testing site on the hospital’s campus, the rate is about 25 percent."As a result, the burden of the surge is much heavier at that hospital than those in wealthier areas of Los Angeles. According to recent statistics, 66 percent of the hospital’s capacity was taken up by Covid-19 patients — making it, in effect, the epicenter of the epicenter. Across town, on the whiter and richer West Side, 11 percent of Ronald Reagan U.C.L.A. Medical Center’s bed capacity was filled with coronavirus patients. "Officials at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital, where most patients are on Medicaid or uninsured, say they are struggling to transfer patients to bigger hospitals when they need a high level of care, such as neurosurgery or a cardiac procedure...." https://tinyurl.com/y98r3gbe great to turn to the Bible, but the book of Luke and the parable of the Good Samaritan don't get much mentioned in White churches.❗👎 |
