“ Praise God for Rus Walton! ”
This is amazing, praise God for such Biblical men as the late Rus Walton! I have been greatly impacted by his ministry through his protégé, Paul Jehle, and I consider Rus Walton a great visionary and a contemporary of R.J.Rushdoony in the area of social activity and practice. His emphasis on Christians getting involved in all areas of life-including politics-are very, very key for our day. He was fond of saying, “Without prayer, no political or social action will amount to anything.” He has made an impact also on my and many other lives through the Plymouth Rock Foundation. Praise God for him and his work for the Kingdom of God!

Thanks for not mincing words- when things are not right sometimes in Christian fellowship, I am realizing more so that it is because of wolves in the midst. After listening to the sermon, I am challenged to pray for discernment and be ready to stand on the foundation of the Word; also to stay IN the Word and seek that communion with my Savior that would keep me as a sheep in check. Thank you- keep preaching it! May God use your ministry greatly in His kingdom work.

We were a nation under God, a nation that honored God..Our nation's leaders sing God Bless America when tragedy happens, but our leaders do not honor God instead put God pit of our nation..God still has a plan for us..a remnant that will rise and proclainm the gospel once again to a dying nation..Obama like many are those who do not know God or His holiness nor His ways..only the lost react lost..We must pray for our leaders..but most of all..Thank God for His protection even though this nation is unfaithful..

Unless background checks and registries are checked one may not be aware of an offender especially if it has not been reported to the authorities. The children should be monitored at all times. I know of one who is a multiple offender and has not served time nor been reported to the authorities and has become deacon at a church. I have often questioned myself. Should I say something to the church or trust he has converted? I believe church is a good place for sinners but where good is..evil is also present.

It has always been the hardest thing for me to know what to say to a friend,to know how to share what God has given me.Thank you so much for this surmon. It reminded me that He will tell me what He wants me to say.I think we tend to forget that He is in control of all things.Bless you

I hear people say God doesn't answer prayer.I think sometimes we pray for what we want but maybe that is not what God wants for us.I try to remember to end my prayers with Thy Will be Done in all things.I think more then jobs and health we should all be praying more for the salvation of family and friends not yet saved. And we should all be praying for His direction in our lives and how to best reach others with His Word.I talk to God on my way to work in the morning and several times during the day. It's like He is always right there with me.It gets the through the day.Even the rough ones.My kids are all grown and moved away.I see them but not as often as I would like. But I am never alone.I never realy feel alone. He is always here, always listening, always available to talk to.I can't imagine getting through my day without that comforting assurance.

I agree with what Tam Evans commented several comments back.
Let us be wary of being like the Pharisees. We are all guilty- but if God has given us eyes to see, we should pray for and pity their unbelief. God allows us to see the despicable nature of humanity left to itself. How much more should we give praise and worship to Him because of His mercy to us. Why me, Lord?
Not only must we give forth the Word and let it be the sword, but our challenge is to abide in our dear Saviour and Christ, and then our lives will radiate Him and our actions will influence society more effectually than we could ever purpose to do in ourselves.
As easy as it is to point our the awfulness of their sin, shouldn't we be as sickened by the awfulness of our sin of neglecting to do what He told us to do?
The more He draws me to Himself in the Word and prayer, the more I see how much I am lacking in reflecting Jesus.

God help us all!

Hi, Mike,

That's interesting. I do remember that Howard Taft was a heavy man, but not much beyond that.

I really like some of the posts that I have read on this site. It directs one to think Biblically. That's important, huh?

I finished David Mccullough's book on John Adams a while back, and I loved it. I am glad that his contribution to our country's founding is now being discovered - as it were. I guess I'm just apprecitating him and wanted to say so.

I have done many demonstrations in schools (not to do with Christianity, cookery and literacy workshops) before I was Christian. I have seen and heard what homosexual campaigners say in their workshops to kids of eleven. Pray for our kids... the UK is just as bad.

Wow, the second sermon, when the Scottish speaker was talking about the deaf and dumb man, who had his ears and mouth opened by Christ. That was an amazing exegesis... who is he?
