I suggest that those interested in the KJV/Modern Versions debate investigate any of the following, which I have personally found very helpful:
1. Books, e-books and sermons available on the subject by David Cloud, Way of Life Literature.
2.Book: "Forever Settled" (Jack Moorman) available online; also his book "Modern Bibles: The Dark Secret."
3. Book: "Defending the King James Bible, A Fourfold Superiority" by Pastor D.A. Waite.
4. Sermon: "Is Every Bible Translation God's Word?", by Rev Ian Brown, (Sermon-Audio)
5. The Dean Burgon Society.
6. The Trinitarian Society.

“ Thank you for teaching 'Truth' ”
I was saddened as I watched the video headlining in the news about the little child of 14 who defends a teacher being disciplined for his stance on gay rights. Where is the accountability, responsibility OF ADULTS... in this video looks like they are being reprimanded by a child... Please tell me why a child of this age is being lauded and applauded for claims of his sexual "orientation" as being gay. He says he tried to kill himself at age 9 due to bullying... Did one thing have to do with the other? if so even worse... why would a 9 year old profess homosexuality come ON people... .too much too soon!!! Adults take Responsibility for.. not Advantage of our children.

Barry Watson, who claims that Canada has the best health care system in the world, may be interested to read the following article:

I lived in Canada for over 20 years, and know of several people who chose to go to the States for more efficient medical treatment.

“ Excellent teaching! ”
As new believers, my husband and I were privileged to have Michael Haykin lead our Young Adults Bible Study group in the late 1970’s. He, along with Pastor Bruce Woods at Stanley Avenue Baptist Church in Hamilton gave us a great start on our Christian walk. Michael is a person who truly lives what he preaches. Now that we live overseas, it is wonderful to still be taught by him and others through Sermon Audio. Thank you.

I am enjoying your preaching very much. It sounds God honoring and man abasing(which it should be) What is man that Thou art mindful of him? It is your humility that impresses me the most. Thank you Reverend Klynsmith. Sister in the Lord from Ontario Canada

We homeschooled our 3 children right through to the 12th grade, and I am happy to say that they are all well-adjusted contributing members of society, and people who love the Lord and want to serve Him.

Hello Jim,

The problem with the newer translations is in the underlying texts. Could I drew your attention to two very good sermons on Sermon Audio by Rev Ian Brown titled "Is Every Translation God's Word?" Also the teachings of Donald Waite, David Cloud, Jack Moorman and the Trinitarian Bible Society have been very helpful to me on this important issue. The language of the KJV is not necessarily that of the 1600's, but unique and accurate translation of the original texts. It is true that a few words in the KJV have changed meaning over the years, but these can be easily studied and understood. A list of these is available from the Trinitarian Bible Society.

“ Thank you! ”
What a great blessing SermonAudio has been to me and my family. Even though I live in a small country town, I am able to access good solid Bible teaching any time of the day as I go about my tasks. There is a desperate need for good teaching in this small corner of Australia. Thank you Pastor Brown for your wonderful preaching!

That child's parents should have been charged!

I have seen too many children throwing tantrums on airplanes and many other places ....and the parents do nothing. Everyone else tries to act as though it's perfectly normal for the kid to behave like a little demon. And we all suffer.

The Bible speaks in Isaiah about a disobedient Israel being "oppressed by children". I think a disobedient America has come into the same situation.

It's time we started spanking our kids again - when they need it!

I think it might be nice a new category of answer to this prayer and fasting question - Whenever I am led to do so. I pray and fast as I feel moved by the Spirit to do so.

Jim

The reason why 9/11 posts on here is that she works for the Democrat propaganda machine.
Thats why she sounds so anti-Bush(Republican)

But
Truth be told 9/11 is really a loving supporter of George Bush, however she's employed to carry this difficult role, and what you gotta do you gotta do to earn the buck.
