Don't get caught short, Jim. Remember what happened with toilet paper? Better stock up on Cheetos before it's too late.

Neither Trump nor Biden are born again Christians, imo, so why single out Trump and criticize him for not living like a Christian? Oh I know. You can't help it.

Candace Owens, for example? Maybe Ben Carson? How about Larry Elder? Or Leo Terrell? Then there's Jack Brewer and Herschel Walker. But you're only interested in black celebs who hate Trump.

I think evangelicals had enough warning before the first election, but anyway if they weren't paying attention, they should know by now, that Trump is a very flawed human being, too flawed to be the President.
Compared to Biden? Have you not read:

1 Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some they follow after.

We have Trump and Biden. Trump has no filters which is typical of very successful narcissists. What you see is what you get, warts and all.

And then there's Biden. Seems every day some new revelation surfaces about his corrupt family dealings, which he managed to successfully hide for years so he would appear as a whited sepulcher on the outside. But he steadfastly denies it and the liberal MSM and tech giants run cover for him, refusing to cover it or allow it to be made public in violation of the first amendment.

So who is being honest with the people and who is lying to our faces but only when his lips move?

Jim, you can't hide your hypocrisy. It's time to move on and start thinking about the next chapter which will begin November 4th.

BTW, I already voted for Trump so your Biden vote is cancelled out. Get over it.

Circumcision of the flesh and keep the first covenant commands. Right.

Thanks for the clarification.

Sure enough. So why did you write "Gentiles had to become Jewish."?

Gentiles had to become Jewish. Salvation by faith was to the Jew first and then came to the Gentiles.
You can search high and low but you'll not find that God granted repentance to anyone during the first covenant age. That came as part and parcel of the new covenant and God's promise to take away stony hearts and give hearts of flesh.

To grant repentance means Gentiles were given the ability to ask God for forgiveness of their sins like the Jews already had the ability to do. It means sinful people must first repent to be saved.
Then prior to Acts 11 the Gentiles were doomed to the Lake of Fire, not being gifted the ability to repent? I thought you rejected fatalism (election) in favor of free will.

I've watched a few YouTube movies produced by this church.

They seem to teach and believe a combination of the RCC's works based religion coupled with the prosperity gospel. IOW, do good works and you'll be prosperous and be successful in this life.

Ha! You keep posting that Christians shouldn't be involved in political/social activism and then post a plug for a Christian super PAC that opposes Trump.

I suppose you don't see the hypocrisy but it is hilarious for those of us who can see.

QC, I didn't put up link to the video to show that I agree of everything he said, though he's correct and implying that concentrating on abortion is an amputated social program
Jim,

It's clear you fail to see your hypocrisy. If it's your goal to personally avoid political/social activism, and encourage others to do the same, then you need to stop promoting liberal political policies and abstain from voting.

But instead you put up articles like this to soothe your depraved conscience and reassure yourself that it's perfectly okay, and the Christian thing to do, to promote and vote for a democratic ticket that proudly promotes abortion and the destruction of our constitutional republic, amongst a host of other evil policies, in the name of social justice.

Though you've successfully fooled yourself, God isn't fooled. And neither are we.

As I was reviewing the news this morning I came across an article about The Social Dilemma. Also viewed the 2:35 trailer of the video of the same name you spoke of. In summary, nothing there I wasn't already aware of.

I'm a seasoned citizen and my conservative Christian values have been settled decades ago so it's not likely that Google or Facebook, etc. are going to be able to influence me with their radical leftist agenda and strategies. And I suspect they already know that. Their target audience are most likely the young minds of mush that the universities haven't already indoctrinated into radical Marxist anarchists. And for those who have already been indoctrinated, to further their leftist radicalism. This is obvious from all the BLM/Antifa riot participants the past several months.

In conclusion, your concerns regarding Facebook are valid but your broad-brush condemnation of Christian Facebook users tells me you don't trust our Lord and Savior's ability to lose none of all the Father gave Him to redeem in time. (John 6:39)

If you are truly a Christian why would you be on or support Facebook? You are missing the point or have chosen to overlook it! When Jesus overturned the tables in the temple with a whip he wasn't giving out hugs and kisses. I see you are a Calvinist also. That's real convenient for you as a FB user.
Ladybug is a Calvinist? Who knew!

I am a Facebook user. I am not defending them (Facebook).

Words are important so you would do well to measure your words carefully so you are not guilty of false accusations, whether accidental or intentional.

Boy, this thread got out of line, and for once, I'm not at fault!
I do believe that Lurker needs to do some of his own research and come to an educated conclusion on this topic. FB has long been known for controlling its users. An easy way to figure this out is my wife went on Canadian Tire for one thing or the other and all of the sudden, FB had ad after ad on with coupon from Canadian Tire for her to see. Not only that but she has Facebook Purity installed because of all the ungodly ads. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that FB can be quite dangerous, it just takes a brain.
Ad targeting isn't unique to Facebook. Google and other search engines do the same thing and many of my product searches have resulted in targeted ads for the same product on the sites that SermonAudio offers as news items.

It's a fact of life in the digital age.

So your wife has a Facebook account? The plot thickens. Beware that "Chistian" may judge her an unregenerate goat.

So now I'm defending Facebook? Maybe you need to do some research into what the bible says about bearing false witness.

Thank you for reporting me on SermonAudio. Maybe SermonAudio is not a place for me. Just so you know you don’t need a Netflix account to watch previews of movies. You are spinning my comments out of control because you are on Facebook and know I’m right.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up about a preview.

You clearly have a negative bias about Facebook and that's your right. You do well to avoid it. But you do not do well, as a professing Christian, to judge other Christians as unregenerate goats simply because they use Facebook. You know absolutely nothing about me or my walk with God to be able to make that judgment. And it is clear to me that you know very little about Facebook.

You don't have a Netflix subscription? Then how do you know what your recommended movie has to say?

Obviously you can’t find anything on google unless you want to. Watch the Netflix movie called the social dilemma. It’s just one sample piece of research you have been blind to see. Your spin tactics are very interesting. My perspective is interesting because I’m right!
You subscribe to the evil Netflix with all their ungodly, worldly and trashy movies? Oh my! I subscribe to Pureflix but not Netflix so I can't watch your recommendation.

No spin. If you believe goats can become sheep then your study and research is faulty and not to be trusted.

You, sir, have a great day.
