b.a. :

"maybe my memory is forsaking me, but wasn't that one of the major reasons the dup led opposition to the 1998 belfast agreement."

Yes it was the reason he lead the opposition back then. IRA/Sinn Fein have prospered by people opposing them, maybe it's time to shift the balance and see if they are capable of 'walking the walk instead of talking the talk'

If IRA/sinn fein manages to come up to the democratic mark, I will be astonished and rather relieved when they do., but it's a long time coming.

Remember b.a. When IRA/sinn Fein steps up to that mark, they can't have known terrorists running our government. IRA/sinn Fein government ministers can't have a criminal history, they whole package - IRA/Sinn Fein has to be totally changed from what they are now.

Martin McGuinness will not be deputy minister and neither will any IRA/Sinn Fein member untill the IRA are totally gone, not excisting and all future 'Sinn Fein' members have no links with terrorist/criminal groups

Squirrel, you are misguided

"After His Resurrection, the church gathered on the first rather than the seventh day of the week (John 20:19; Acts 20:7; 1Co 16:2)."

1Co 16:2 reads ' Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.'

Albert, in respect to Paisley sitting with Papist Priests, didn't Jesus sit with high Jews, those who would betray him later and try to reason with them what God had appointed.

I think it no shame to sit with (what Paisley done) or to reason with those who have been lead down the manly path

So am I. No terrorist to govern the people. Jesus gave the criminal a passage into heaven he didn't tell him to govern the people

Jim Lincoln from Nebraska

"To quit all arguments about the sabbath, workers should get Saturday and Sunday off, that would satisfy everyone,"

It might satisfy man, but would it satisfy God?

E, if they are simply tables of stone they mean nothing else but something to look at. They were produced by God to show us how we live our lives by him, a sign to him, our seal to his love

If they are thought of as just something material, that is what they will become

Faithful Remnant, forget my previous reply to you as I initially thought you said 'We don't have record of Jesus"

E

"where is this seal of God?"

In the ten commandments. It's a 'seal' a law by how we serve god.

........and what is the Lord's Day if it's not the Sabboth, as mentioned by the person who opened the thread?

Faithful Remnant

"We do have record of Jesus being in the synagogue, reading the scriptures there, etc. "

are you so sure about that?

Excuse my ignorance here, but wasn't the sabboth to be reserved for the Saturday as a seal of God?

The romish church then changed it because Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday, but neither Jesus or his disciples told Christians to break the seal of God from a Saturday to a sunday.

So who was the bright spark that thought 'Dalai Lama' was their next leader?.......Who were the men who picked out a child and said 'this is he'?

Who are these democrates?

Sounds very similar to the election of the Vatican

If the Dalai Lama wants Saddam spared, he should fit the bill, instead of spouting nonscence. He should take him into care while protecting the rest of us from him.

Dalai Lama is an idiot, with a primary-school thought process

Proves that us Israelites are more than theology

It's a pity Father Gabriele Amorth didn't mention Romes involvement with hitler.

Rome and the Vatican was hitlers biggest friends during WW2.

the pope's an ass, he hasne got the credentials to debate with anyone, he's only filling in the time till Jesus comes.

any Pope debating with foreign religions only results in a combined religion.......multi-faith Vatican
