“ Thank you ” Thank you for this video. I have been reading the Bible and praying to understand Gods word so that I can be ready for his return. I do believe I have learned from this and look forward to next week and the rest of this sermon.
“ Comforting sermon about death ” Some lines that caught my attenion:
"My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" So that He would never forsake us.
Because of Christ's death, our old selves and our evil desires no longer control us. We are free!
Death is still an enemy, but even now Christ has transformed it to serve us by making it an entrance into heaven.
Sorry, but Protestants and Catholics are not both Christians. The Catholic system is salvation by works and the Bible believing Protestant churches (which are getting fewer and fewer in number today) hold to faith alone in Christ alone by grace alone. Catholicism like Islam is just another false religion. Both of which are guilty of the blood of the saints.
“ Good Sermon About the Sabbath Rest ” What to do on Sundays has always been confusing to me. Listening to this sermon helps me change my focus from "What to do" to "How to enjoy the blessedness of a Sabbath rest."
Oh brother! The stand Chickfila has taken certainly has not affected their business here in my area. In fact, it's probably boosted their sales. I know I'm eating there more than ever because of it.
Have ALWAYS hated the muppets and Sesame Street. Never let my kids watch that stupid show. Now I have an even better reason to hate Kermit and his group of liberal pals. Of course Big Bird is the worst of all. He gives all fowl a foul name. So glad there will never be a chance of my grandchildren getting anything Sesame in their Chick Fil A kids meals. Go Mr. Cathey!
“ Great Sermon! ” I'm sure this is a very violent movie judging from the trailer, but didn't shooting happen before movie started? If so, shooter had not even seen it. Yes, sex, violence, crudeness in movies have all had their effect on our culture, but we must not forget the true root cause. Mans depraved nature. It started with the fall.
Our Lord God says in His word that He will honor those that honor Him. I'm praying Chick-fil-a will more than double their sales because of their stand for truth.
“ Great Sermon! ” Great sermon, but I can't agree to vote for lesser of two evils. I was fooled into voting for GW the first time and decided never again! Romney is flip flopping to gain votes from the gullible "Christian" right. Don't be fooled. If there isn't a candidate that's truly pro life and against sodomy with a backbone to say it, then abstain and leave the results in Gods hands.
4.6 acres? Sounds like plenty of room to build a 2000 sq ft structure to me. It's not like they're living in a subdivision on a 1/4 acre lot. The land/building belongs to Salmons and they have the right to use as they wish.
Gods word says that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. The empires of Britain and America are sure to fall since allowing and embracing this awful abomination against God. He is not mocked!
“ Truths about the Spirit Unpacked ” This sermon gracefully and skillfully unpacks some complicated and mysterious truths about the Holy Spirit. I was especially drawn to the fact that when Paul speaks of the glory of the Lord in II Corinthians 3, he is referring to the gospel message. Having this compared to the glory that shone on Moses' face when God talked to him leads me to find a new reverence in my times of worship.
I stopped shopping at Homo Depot over a year ago after calling the local store and corporate office to let them know why. I will also avoid shopping at Target now. Have also called to let them know the reason. I guess for me it's coming down to a local family owned grocer and thrift stores if the big companies continue to cave to these evil sodomite bullies.
