Calvary Chapel: Worldly Arminian Organization It should be noted that Calvary Chapel is really a worldly Arminian organization. Many contemporary praise churches espouse Arminian "free will", which attacks The Sovereignty of The Lord. As we know the word 'predestinate' is translated from the Greek word proorizō (προορίζω), and this Greek word occurs in Acts 4:28, Romans 8:29-30, 1 Corinthians 2:7, Ephesians 1:5, and Ephesians 1:11. Then again, New Calvinist churches, which are also contemporary circus churches, also espouse Arminian "free will." It is sad how Calvary Chapel had worldly beginnings as a worldly circus church, and all of it is because of Calvary Chapel's Arminian philosophy of "free will." |

Heavy Metal Music: Music of Death It should be noted that heavy metal music is the music of death. This is because heavy metal songs are clearly associated with spree murder, suicide, and other sinful acts of violence. In heavy metal music, one technique of singing involves angry screaming, which sounds violent in and of itself. We also realize that spree murder involves multiple murders committed on a rampage. It is no surprise that spree killers would use heavy metal screaming while going on a murderous rampage. Just as the earth was filled with violence in the days of Noah like in Genesis 6:1-22, so the earth is filled with violence today because of rock music, especially heavy metal music. With numerous incidents of mass shootings, it makes us question whether heavy metal music should continually be on the market, which sadly, it is. This sermon shows that rock music, especially heavy metal music, is characterized by the evil love of violence. |

The Enlightenment: Reviving Idolatry It should be noted that the Enlightenment in the 17th and 18th centuries revived idolatry, particularly the idol called "Liberty" and the goddess of reason. The French Revolution spread this evil of idolatry with its idol called the goddess of reason. Just as Ahab and Jezebel spread the idolatry of Baal in Israel back in The Old Testament, so the Enlightenment thinkers spread idolatry in America, Europe, and around the world with their idols of Lady Justice and Lady Liberty. It is worth noting Leviticus 19:4, Leviticus 26:1, Deuteronomy 27:15, Psalm 135:15-18 and other passages condemning idolatry in response to this evil of idolatry spread through the Enlightenment. How sad that America (USA), the first known nation built on Enlightenment ideals, has spread the evils of idolatry to every major corner of the globe. It is also worth noting Revelation 21:8 in response to the idolatry of Lady Justice and Lady Liberty in America and around the world. When the idolaters are judged at The Great White Throne Judgment which is noted in Revelation 20:11-15, they will be in for a rude awakening as their sin of idolatry will be exposed and they will be sentenced to eternal punishment in The Lake of Fire. This sermon is a message to wake up. |

Remembering The Imprecatory Psalms It is worth remembering Psalms 5, Psalms 10, Psalms 17, Psalms 35, Psalms 58, Psalms 59, Psalms 69, Psalms 70, Psalms 79, Psalms 83, Psalms 109, Psalms 129, Psalms 137, and Psalms 140. This is because these Psalms are Imprecatory Psalms and are relevant today as an indictment against the rebellious apostate World Council of Churches. |

Remembering The Babylonian Captivity It is worth remembering the example of Israel being taken into Babylonian Captivity as shown in 2 Kings 20:18, 2 Kings 24:16, 1 Chronicles 9:1, 2 Chronicles 36:20, 2 Chronicles 36:22-23, Ezra 1:1-4, Ezra 2:1-2, Ezra 5:12, Ezra 5:13-16, Nehemiah 7:6-7, Psalms 137:1-9, Jeremiah 20:6, Jeremiah 24:1, Jeremiah 29:1, Jeremiah 29:4-14, Jeremiah 32:5, Jeremiah 34:3, Jeremiah 39:7, Jeremiah 40:4, Ezekiel 12:13, Ezekiel 17:12, Ezekiel 17:16, Ezekiel 17:20, Daniel 1:1-7, Micah 4:10, Matthew 1:11, Matthew 1:12, Matthew 1:17, and Acts 7:43. We ought to remember the Babylonian Captivity in response to the issue of libertarianism and temporal worldly "liberty". |
