“ Living by faith. ” Good call to live by faith, not by seeing. Looking, through faith, to the invisible things of God and grounding our lives on the promises of God.
“ Great truths. ” Good and encouraging message. The Christian life can be lived only in the power of the Holy Spirit. And Peter and John's behavior in that court is an example for us when we are brought before courts of justice.

“ Great distress. ” I believe every true child of God passes through times in which he feels all the foundations of hid life and faith are being destroyed. Yet, God will be there and will make him to stand up again.
“ Thankfulness. ” Thank you for the encouraging message. I read today Samuel Davies’ account about the pleasure of the black slaves to sing Christian songs: “Sundry of them have lodged all night in my kitchen; and, sometimes, when I have awaked about two or three a-clock in the morning, a torrent of sacred harmony poured into my chamber, and carried my mind away to Heaven. In this seraphic exercise, some of them spend almost the whole night. I wish, Sir, you and their other Benefactors could hear one of these sacred concerts…” This was great thankfulness indeed.
“ Great comfort. ” Amen! We must live differently, because we have a sovereign, powerful and loving God, and this day we and our ways are in His hands. A special comfort I received this morning when a prepared a short message for today's prayer meeting, from Psalm 53:4-6. God is sovereign even over evil people.
