Strong emotional words and the things you mention are quite evil

So what do you do with "feminized" women who begrudge their husbands the physical marital initamcy that a man can thoroughly thank God for because after all God chose to make him a man not some kind of effeminate eunuch?

Imho there has been an ongoing castration of men (manhood) in evangelical churches, not because the men there were sexual monsters but because our modern churches have been bewitched with a "feminized" perversion of Biblical Christianity and men who stand for the Truth of Christ aren't welcome, because they (the Truth) offends the world a whorish church courts, appeases and kisses up to

A good (not perfect) read in this is Eric Ludy's book the Bravehearted Gospel
Hope you all read it and are repentantly blessed by it

For one try telling the Donatists, Waldenses, and all the Baptist-type believers who refused hereitcal infant baptismal regeneration and all those slaughtered in the inquistion how the RCC stood up for their rights - Yah

For "two" as to speaking up for the rights of Muslims? Are you making somekind of sick joke What rights would that be? Killing Jewish people and stealing their land? Somekind of right to lie to people that they are a religion of peace? Scripture teaches us to think clearly, 'Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD so as to bring wrath on yourself from the LORD?' Trying to hide your antichristian prejudice in maligning Pamela Gellar?

We who are genuinely born again of the Holy Spirit need to guard our minds from the distraction of the servants of Satan. The issue is one that is greatly related to freedom of speach and freedom of conscience, two things the enemies of God seem to be in agreement to suppress, criminalize and persecute because they are so interrelated to preaching the true gospel of Christ (not Rome's false one ) and being faithful to Jesus

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.

Neither pro-Roman Catholic
Nor politically correct cowards
will be able to give us Biblical Factual Wisdom in what to think and what God's will is for us in all this (even though they may genuinely notice things aren't right)

Pam Geller was asked who is the enemy to free speech, for one historically the RCC, (remember they adore the same god as Muslims CCC 841) who sought to deny the Bible from everday people, demanding that ultimately all men acknowledge the Papacy is certainly one (if you don't realize this ask Wycliffe, Huss and Tyndale)

And in more "practical" terms our own government corrupted with the influences of dishonesty, lying, stealing, double standards for itself and its friends, abuse and disregard for our Constitution, and history, atheism, sexual immorality, especially, exploitation of racial prejudices, the welfare state, the abomination of homosexuality, "Evolution" and abortion (I hate to us the word) "rights",

Especially their "allies" of a Biblically illiterate, cowardly and man pleasing clergy
have all contributed to a suppression (out right criminalization in some cases)
of free speech, the defense of those saying the Truth when it is offensive to evil

So we might then suppose that if Luther were to nail his 95 Theses today, he would have to first remove the things that are clear Catholicisms? Otherwise it seems he would surely be seen as a compromising and ecumenical religious celebrity. Interesting how we see him then as a man of God, but today the very same work would bring him a different label.
Mike
First let me apologize to Lurker
our imperfect departed friend Luther has been much on my mind of late

Nevertheless there are things we might benefit greatly from looking at his life
(one) God used him while quite imperfect and unrefined in his theology _ realizing "The Just shall live by faith" being one of the blessed Truths of Scripture the Synagogue of Satan was dilberately suppressing (still does)
(two) Although in much fear and trembling ultimately stood his ground refusing to abandon what he was learning in the Scriptures _ His loyalty to the Word of God, even with much learning and growing to do enabled him to put his life on the line, even faced with the hostility of the biggest religious machine known to man

If he were here today his 'starting point' and therefore work would be much different, Nevertheless ultimately I would think he would oppose the RCC

I can appreciate your comment.

At the moment I've been dealing with the Protestant Reformation in some of my speaking

First the 5 Solas are Biblical Truths the RCC has rejected, men like John Wcycliffe, John Huss and William Tyndale come to mine and how they put their lives on the line for the Truth of Scripture and incured the rage of this 'Synagogue of Satan'

And have been considering one of the tipping points whas Tetzel selling heretical and blasphemous indulgence to build St Peter's Basilica in Rome

Again I appreciate your comment and may God grant other today the words to do the same as well

Hey Michael, do you suppose if Luther were alive today, he would be considered ecumenical?
Mike NY
Imho you have asked an excellent question to consider regarding the times we are living in

I think we have to answer your question in considering the man God chose and honesty and humbly consider how that would flesh out in our time

Martin Luther was a RC priest, he was seeped in Catholicism, including the teaching of Augustine, therefore had much RC Traditon etc to unlearn and much to learn from the word of God

God gave (placed him) in circumstances where intially he was a zealous Catholic priest but also where He would be thoroughly brought into contact with Scriptures and that was the deciding factor, the word of God changed him

I would consider if he were living today that ultimately No, he would not be ecumenical (imperfectly) that he would be outspoken that we must obey the word of God and not the traditions and teachings of man (again imperfectly but there) I also believe he would have a hard time of it (standing against the RCC and the ecumenical compromisers) because Satan has used prominent religious celebrities to blur the irreconciable differences between genuine Biblical Christianity and counterfeits of it

From the article:
"Allison relates every Catholic doctrine back to these two axioms, both of which he critiques strongly. But Catholic theology is not all wrong, and Allison deftly distinguishes truth from error. For Catholics and evangelicals who want to know where they differ, this book is a helpful read."

Sounds like cozying up to the Great Whore of Babylon to me.

BTW the axiom or premise he and we to ought always humble use is The Bible is Truth! He seems to conviently have avoided this

Now if you don't like that language consider a different careful evaluation of the Roman Catholic Church and her Catechism, her offical teachings signed as authoritative by the late John Paul II.

Does RCC theology teachings get it right on who God is?
No! CCC 841 tells us offically Catholics and Muslims adore the same god (Allah is a false god)

Does the RCC get it right on who Jesus Christ is?
No! CCC 969 Mary is called "Mediatrix" when the word of God clearly teaches there is only one Mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ

There is far more in a Biblical Critique of the Roman Catholic False Religious Institution. The author of this book fails miserably to give a true Biblical evaluation

Jim;
WHY do you think Jesus asks folk who 'labour' and are 'heavily burdened' to come to HIM?
First Jesus is referring to
....... Sinners! Who He has immeasurable compassion on and for, only by His own will and choice to do so, as they have nothing to merit His mercy and grace of themselves. Sinners! Who desperately need to be saved by Him in the new birth from their fallen nature that loves sin and hates obedience, from Satan and the domain of darkness, and from the world, including the religious world that is in enmity against God (the real grace of God ) from hell and all the penalty / punishment (death) and curse that sin rightfully deserves and saved for Him, to belong completely and entirely to Him forever as His own treasure purchased with His Blood

There being realities here unregenerate one-eyed Experts in the 5 points of Dordt Calvinism will never appreciate

Kinda makes me wonder how you are so zealous for Dordt's TULIP when you really don't seem to actually believe it yourself, Hmmmm?

I appreciate the topic
it makes me consider
that we have not approached solving
this problem the right way

So in the learning process I am continually in Imho any problem with youth faling to come to saving faith in Christ, and being a genuine disicple
is both

Parents and their
Children

we need by God's grace to see both

Parents
Children

saved and made disciples
Way easier said then done, that will take the Sovereign grace and power of God

I like your post
may God help us to have His wisdom and especially His deep compassion on the lost who "call on us" like the next JW or Mormon (let's include Muslims too) who approach us in their false religion

and especially the Power and boldness of the Holy Spirit to gently see them CONVICTED of their sin and their need of Christ

Hmmmmm? I wonder if your post was Providence to prime me for a visit by some Mormons or JWs today????
If it be so, may God help me to bring Him glory, but especially those who Satan's prostyletes are calling on today

This is a hard one to put into words
and you all will need to do your own honest humble research with much seeking of the Lord in it

There seems valid reason/evidence to concluded TD Jakes is intermessed with
Oneness (heretical Jesus Only) Pentecostalism - although he seems to have parsed his words to hide and/or avoid this

That he is tied into false (heretical) word of faith doctrine/fasle teachers/movement

Appraising Ministries
gives Voddie Baucham's Biblically Insightful side of thing concerning TD Jakes and his inivitation to and participation in a "Elephant Room 2" not too long back

practise "ancient European law" (guilty unto proven innocent)
and then slander to make it so

Ever hear of the Blood of Jesus Christ, that kind of gives me a strong and perfect plea before the thrown of God above

Something unregenerate blind Calvinists (enemies of the Cross) really don't know anything about

Thank you for the reminder to continually throw myself on His unfailing mercy
Something that Christians can encourasge one another in and preach to all sinners including homosexuals that they would throw themselves on the Mercy of God, the forgiveness and cleansing they might know only by the Grace of God in the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ

Got Dordt?
Got the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ
Praise be to God! Now and Forever!

BTW I believe it is safe to say some you slander as somekind of Wesleyan (actually God loving ) know this too

BTW you never did address how you don't really believe Dordt's 5 pts of TULIP anyway, as if the Sovereign work of the Spirit aint good enough for the Disiciples of Dordt

Roman Calvinists are so sadly funny they don't even believe the the TULIP of Dordt they are so found of smelling

like this post denies "irresistable grace" as if the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the Sovereign work of the Holy Ghost isn't good enough for them

Good morning to you
This thread reminds me of a wonderful sermon here on SermonAudio ]]When Peace Costs Too Much

Imho there are semons that are far more useful to speand our time humbly prayerfully listening to if our desire is to be faithful to our Savior Jesus Christ and be about the Great Commission He entrusted to those genuinely born again of the Holy Spirit
one of which imho is
]]THE BLOOD
by C.H. Spurgeon

Somehow I cannot help but think that things like "Amyraldian and Arminian Universalism" paled into seeminly insignificance in their importance to this humble Baptist preacher who imho knew the immeasruable worth and importance of the Risen Son of God and continually pointed people to the Lord Jesus Christ

Something impossible to do for those who do not know Him as their own Savior and Lord
