Very convicting concerning the necessity to do more to bring the lost to Jesus, and especially my own family members! How easy it is to become discouraged, and then complacent about their lost condition, and take it as just a normal fact of life; but that should never be! There can be no room for discouragement in this matter, but one must always pray and work for their salvation!

It has been twenty years since we last celebrated Christmas, and we have never regretted our decision to obey the Lord and forsake this wicked and deceitful "holy day." God is faithful to keep those who are His own, and we thank Him for preserving us all these many years from the corrupt Christ Mass celebration of the Antichrist!

The resemblance the Romish Babylon bears to Babylon of Old is truly striking, and very instructive as to the nature of this false religious system which is so well accommodated to the sinful inclinations of rebellious sinners, yet completely without any ability to save those who are so drawn to it. What a marvelous blessing it is to know the true Jesus and His salvation!

II Corinthians 6:17-18 What a wonderful promise is given to those who separate from the ungodly practices of this wicked world! There are many difficulties involved in forsaking Christmas observance, yet the blessings received far surpass all the difficulties!

It is an indisputable fact that we must all leave this world and enter into eternity. Our departure from this world will be a moment of supreme importance, yet, if we fail to prepare for it, it will be the most disastrous moment of our lives, as we enter into an eternity of everlasting torment and regret. Do not fail to prepare for this great event! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul, and live for Him, and you will be prepared for an eternity of everlasting joy in His presence!

Many assume that the form of church government is a matter of indifference, and that it can be ordered according to mere human wisdom and convenience. However, Christ bought His church with His dying love, and, as her King and Head, has appointed a form of government for her in Scripture, so that to ignore Christ's appointed form of church government is to despise both His authority and His love. In this sermon, Pastor Silversides demonstrates the biblical foundations of presbyterian church government, which is alone the form of church government appointed by Jesus Christ, and hence of Divine right.
