What a careless guy. He even does not care if the students forget history. How reassuring! This certainly sets the stage for history to repeat itself. Doesn't sound like a good education. Before immorality was rampant, we did not need sex education. So, get back to morals and divine truth and holiness.

They lost the election, but keep on complaining. Oh well, one thing shows through--the LDS/Mormons have more light than a lot of other churches. To stand up against the homosexual movement shows they've got something to them. It does not matter who persuaded the elections. The homosexual groups just wish they had presuaded the people and now will twist arms to get their way. What's wrong? Why complain. You also could have used various means to communicate your immoral ideas to persuade the masses. You all have no basis for complaining.

John wrote:
I'm TOTALLY fine with church services on Christmas day,
So am I and so is my church, but not everybody and their church is, and that is fine, so long as they don't forbid us who do have Christmas services. Everyone should have the right to worship God how, when and where they may.

Just a sign of the massive apostacy happening. Sodomy is prevalent in places where Catholicism is dominant as well as where it is not very dominant. The homosexual lifestyle is sin and abomination, yet one from which a person can turn away and receive healing and God's forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

This is absolutely sad. God has provided means to heal and cure and to ease suffering. Sometimes this may require others' help..physicians, nurses, etc. This is especially true of children.

There is more to the word baptize than meets the eye...i.e. more than just immerse. If somebody prefers pouring or sprinkling over immersion, I see no reason to burden their conscience with a different opinion(immersion only) as being the only valid baptism.

So long as it is not required for salvation, I see nothing wrong with it. If somebody wants to celebrate advent, fine. If not, don't. One thing for certain, Christ will come back and this can certainly be a good topic in the advent season. This is what Advent means to me anyway. Christ is coming back. Are you ready or are you still unprepared? Repent while there is yet time.

It has happened before and wouldn't surprise me if it happens again, unless the US citizens and government return to their foundations.

Sounds like emergent churches are merging with unrepentant sinners. This should not be!

Good point, Lyn. We are to declare the repentant forgiven, that they are reconciled to God. We have no power in ourselves to save another, yet the proclaimed Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to all who hear and believe. So in a way, GG, many of us still hold to this idea of forgiveness to others, but that it is not literally something of ourselves. If someone(take for example Lennon) came to me seeking counsel for their sinfulness and admitted this and belived that the forgiveness of sins which I preach is God's forgiveness in Jesus Christ, I would declare them forgiven and freed of this bondage to which they have been enslaved. It is a fundamental Gospel truth very nicely said in John 20:23 and put into practice in Acts 13:38,10:43 and 1 John 2:12 and in the Old Testament as well(2 Samuel 12:13).

Just thought to update you, Mike. I had moose and wild boar sausage tonight. More new and delicious wild game for my palate.

Yes, Josh, but notice I did not say I skip church in favor of the gym. I go to the gym for relaxation and I understand Sunday to be a day of rest and relaxation so I see nothing wrong with going to the gym on Sunday. That's my interpretation of it anyway, but you are entitled to your opinion also and spend your Sunday as you see fit. I agree, Neil, concerning Ms. Palin.

So the new president is already skipping church in order to attend the gym. Interesting. On Sundays I have often attended church and then gone to the gym later on the same day. What is so special about this gym that Mr. Obama has to skip church? Does it require an entire sunday to be there?

If he was truly sorry, I would forgive him. It is what we are supposed to do.

Certainly no breaking news about college financial assistance. I received that a long time before Obama was a household name.

Perhaps next time the American people will see the problems of both McCain and Obaman and vote for a third party candidate.
I agree with Mike; this past election was emotion-based, not conscience based nor conviction-based.

Me too, Mike. Especially deer, elk, turkey and quail. Bear isn't bad either, nor is alligator. Have you tried these or do any hunting?

Yep, they should be allowed to roam more freely. We never kept our animals confined to prison cells(for lack of a better term) on our farm. They were allowed to eat natural food from the ground. It makes for healthier and better tasting meat and eggs. Of course wild game is even better.
