Thank you Mattias, excellent article! My heart praises God that someone is exposing the urban myth which claims that Atheists have more intelligence than Theists!

Hi Dorcas, 'Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ'!

Through God's commandments, testimonies, and precepts we have great wisdom and understanding — Trust Him, obey Him, and believe in the love He has for you!

"You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts."

~ Psalm 119:98-100 NKJV

Thank you sister! As I'll listen I'll keep in mind that only God knows the thoughts and intentions of the heart!

If only the church had taken a stance against adultery and fornication inside the church rather than attacking the sexual practices of people outside the church

"But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. 'Purge the evil person from among you.'" ~ 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 ESV

"I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."

I'm tired of Christians focusing so heavily on the homosexuality of persons outside the church ~ is this the mandate from Christ to preach? Or is it not to 'proclaim Christ and Him crucified'?

SF, the question I have is, if God confuses the enemies of these saints (per Jessica's worthy prayer), will we wake up in a daze tomorrow?
May we all behave worthy of God's calling and may God confuse our enemies who seek to destroy the lives and faith of God's people!

"Let them be ashamed and confounded Who seek my life; Let them be turned back and confused Who desire my hurt."

~ Psalm 70:2 NKJV

"Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel."

May God give us the strength to pray for our sisters and brothers in Iraq, that He may have mercy upon them and confuse their enemies!

"The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins."

Have I ever shared with you the red pen principle? My pastor in Knoxville taught it to me.
Read anything you want but read it prayerfully paying close attention to whether or not it lines up with Biblical Truth in the context of all of Scripture.
Mark (as with a red pen) those things that you find that don't and putting down Scripture references why, mark those that are likewise clearly Biblical with references why. In this way you can be obedient to 'Despising not prophecying but examine everthing, holding fast to that which is good.'
Remember don't give anybody a pass because they are popular. Scripture tells us of Peter, a genuine Apostle used by the Spirit to write 2 Books in the Bible, who nevertheless came under the influence of false teaching and needed the rebuke Paul gave him in Galatians.
I picked up a book recently in which I didn't know had false teaching: I have been thinking of using this technique with this book and perhaps writing a book/paper about its heresy so others may read it and glean? On-the-other-hand, I have also thought about throwing the book into paper recycling — I have been praying to The Lord about which path to take. Thank you for sharing!

"I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,"

~ Matthew 12:36

"whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

~ 1 Peter 4:11

"Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another."

~ Titus 3:1-3

"Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."

~ Colossians 4:6

The more mature women need to be an example to the younger women in virtue, modesty, gentleness, and in living a life of holiness before God and humankind - nurturing our families, giving to the poor, and behaving with humility. May our lives be a plumbline, a testimony, which makes the crooked places straight through the Hand of the Almighty! All praise and thanks be to God, halleluiah!

"You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." ~ Matthew 5:43-48

According to this article there have been, "19 comics in which Archie spread the Good News of the Gospel."

]]'The 12 Craziest Moments From Archie’s Christian Comics'

It was The Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners and took the punishment which we deserved on the cross and then arose from the dead on the third day ~ sinners (which includes all of us) are justified through faith in Him.

"But what does it say? 'The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart' (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

~ Romans 10:8-9 NKJV

"Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.'"

~ Acts 2:38-40 NKJV

God created plants, animals, and humans to be male and female ~ this means that a pair of every species was/is perfectly compatible to reproduce ~ with consummately designed sperm and egg from separate creatures joining together to form a replicate of the said creature/s ~ evolution has no suitable explanation for this simultaneous compatibility for reproduction in animals and plants.

I am very disappointed that Bill Nye does not respect Creation Science as science ~ now all the people that he entertained when they were children, he has no respect for them as being "good" for humanity if they believe in creation ~ I am very disappointed in him...

Jesus is an ally to everyone, extending His salvation to a lost and sinful humanity — Jesus is an ally and a friend to sinners and He died for us knowing we needed a Saviour!

I believe we should be of the same mind and extend love and with an absence of judgement to those who do not yet believe — God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him may be saved, halleluiah!

May God bless Robin Bartlett Frazier, and continue to keep her strong in the faith of The Lord Christ Jesus!

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." ~ Mark 8:36-38 KJV

The Lord in his mercy took me off the booze shortly before I heard the gospel message which led to my salvation. I guess it was because he wanted me to hear it with a clear head.
The Lord bless you, sister.
Thank you John,

Praises to God that He delivered you from the perils of alcohol — may God give us wisdom to continue to avoid the strongholds which have captured so many lost souls in need of salvation — peace be with you!

Kind regards,
Jessica

'May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.' ~ The Apostle Paul
