That joke is the same thing you and other Catholics are doing when they are praying and asking Mary to intercede for them. Can you show me a scripture in the Holy Bible that tells us she has the authority to do this?

I grew up in the 1930’s and 40’s when all the catholic propaganda in the movies was going on with Bing Crosby, Spencer Tracy, etc., so I was brainwashed like many others at that time to believe their doctrine was true because they seemingly were worshiping the same Jesus I was. Sadly, it took many years before I realized that it was not true and that I had been deceived.

I have since read much material as well as listened to many sermons regarding Catholics because I have had some very dear friends that are catholic. If you have looked at all the past history and evidence, it is pretty difficult not to conclude that Roman Catholicism is a false religion.

Since Peter was supposedly the "rock" in which the church was built, did HE (Peter) worship Mary? How did he honor and venerate her ? How about Paul? Timothy? Anyone in written "biblical" history except for Elizabeth?
