“ Great Sermon! ”
Watching reactions to events in Palestine/Israel this month, it is evident that bad theology has real world consequences. So thankful for the corrective offered in this theologically sound and most excellent sermon.

Yes yes yes! However almost all of my Christian friends believe the dispensationalism view and are totally closed to any other view. They refuse to believe or accept otherwise.

“ OUTSTANDING!! LISTEN!! ”
Praise The Lord for this sermon. It speaks the truth about the need to fear God and teach the Bible correctly. Culture and popularity are worthless and cause churches to destroy their congregation. Churches are filled with goats today and not sheep. The righteous are persecuted in many churches today.

“ God is not Mocked! ”
This sermon is from 2000 and this pastor is now in heaven with The Lord. However, he left a great legacy with this sermon about the justice of God. He says, "a lie is a lie!!" That is truth. He talks about the importance of telling the truth and especially to children. PLEASE listen to this great sermon which is needed today more than ever before. The sermon is short but every word is gold.

Sermon:
Glorifying God in marriage
Rev David Silversides

comment
“ Great Sermon! ”
This sermon is very relevant to these times even though it was preached over 20 years ago. It speaks, not only to men and women's roles and duties in marriage, but also touches, presciently, on what was illegal and unlikely at that time, namely, so-called, same-sex 'marriage'. I heartily recommend this sermon and thank Loughbrickland RPC for recording it and uploading it on SermonAudio (an organisation that also deserves our thanks for enabling this and other great sermons to be so widely disseminated.)

“ Outstanding sermon! ”
The teaching of Isaiah 60:10-12 can only be regarded as of critical importance for any nation to understand and obey. Sadly, it is believed by many to require support of the state of Israel, rather than of the true Christian church. May God raise up many ministers like Rev. Silversides who will faithfully herald God's truth to the nations!

The Case For Total Psalmody

“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent teaching of this very important doctrine of truth. The Lord wrote His Book of Praise in the Book of Psalms. Why would you not use the Praise which God provided for His worship? How could anyone replace it by the works of sinners? This is a Biblical message that really needs to be received and comprehended by all believers. Praise GOD by God's praise. Nothing else can supersede this Book.

“ Excellent Sermon. ”
Thank you Rev. Silversides. This sermon goes straight to the heart of the matter and is so very appropriate for these terrible days of apostasy. Taking us right back to the Scripture teaching and from the view of Paul's times and our own day to show that 1st Timothy 2 is precisely how we should handle the woman's role and the man's role - whatever the culture or times we live in. This teaching would blow the minds of modern Liberal churches such as the C.of E. and the C.of S. But then they are UNBiblical churches. Well done Rev. Silversides. God bless your ministry.

Sermon:
2. Common Grace: Is it Biblical?
Various Speakers
1
comment
“ Interesting Q & A! ”
Ron Hanko's response to his first question reveals an inconsistency in his interpretive principle. David Silversides, in his first talk, quoted Psalm 145 v 9 as a 'proof text' for the doctrine of the Lord's common grace toward Mankind. Psalm 145 v 9 reads, The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Rev Hanko, in disputing Rev Silversides position, in HIS first talk, said that 'all' in the first clause of v 9 is to be understood as meaning 'all His works' from the 2nd clause. Rev Hanko, in his first talk, said that 'all his works' referred to God's creation, something which he further defined in that talk as excluding Mankind, for no good reason that I can fathom. Verse 10 reads, All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. So then, in this Q & A Rev Hanko now says that 'Thy works', in verse 10, is to be interpreted as meaning 'Thy saints' and, further, that v 10 supports his position in the debate. So, God's 'works' are to be defined differently in two adjoining verses? Is that a sound exegetical principle?
