“ Great Sermon! ”
Are there any more sermons that go along with this teaching? I would love to hear more about this subject.

“ Needed more now than ever! ”
This is such a great message and so important. I'm concerned, however, as it seems in this generation, even Christian young men DO tend to choose the girls that dress immodestly and it seems the discouragement from that fact pushes these young women to adopt the culture's immodest dress.

“ Contra mundum! ”
This sermon is a great starting place for a consideration of scriptural modesty standards. The treatment of the objection to modest dress that it make us appear odd is especially helpful. Given that the Bible teaches us not to be conformed to this world, and that we are commanded to dress modestly, should we not glory in showing forth the praises of Him who has completely covered our sin and shame with His own blood by completely covering our shameful physical nakedness with modest clothing? Was this not the connection made by the Lord Himself when he clothed Adam and Eve, replacing their immodest fig-leaf aprons with coats of skin? Or would we rather imitate and identify ourselves with the lost who refuse the gracious provision of salvation through Christ and manifest this rebellious condition by exposing their nakedness? Oh,that we Christians would shine forth as lights for the Lord Jesus in this crooked and perverse world, and not be at all ashamed of Him!

“ Great Sermon! ”
Very good, but such a pity that so many women who call themselves Christian choose to ignore this passage.

BWS (5/10/2009)
“ Relevant and Needed Sermon! ”
This subject has become virtually taboo in the church and christian discussion, being defended against under pleas or charges of "legalism", "christian liberty", and especially "culture" (differences between today and the 19th century or earlier). While men are often charged with immoral advances in society by women, their own immodesty of dress waves a green light or provokes it. Mass media (TV, movies, advertisements, etc) and its acceptance in Christian homes cannot be overlooked as the principle indoctrination and cause for the acceptance of immodest "modern fashion". It is impossible to have different values from what we willing watch and expose ourselves too. Immodest fashionableness by christians then is a mere symptom of larger worldly conformity, which includes music, gender roles, and family relations. Gender dress should also be addressed. Satan began this major assault against Christian Culture during the "roaring 20s" and "sexual revolution" of the 60s and 70s, introducing a Revolutionary Anti-Christian Culture.

“ Excellent Message!!! ”
I had the blessing of hearing this message live. Very balanced and well thought through. I plan to copy and pass out to my own people in Dublin.
