“ Important subject ”
Who is sacrificing scripture? 1 Tim 3:11 (in the Greek) teaches that "the women likewise" can be deacons (and elders), subject to the same limitations as the men. Why has that teaching been sacrificed? Furthermore, you will observe that if the scriptures regarding Huldah the great prophetess (2 Kings 22:14 and 2 Chronicles 34:22), are entered in SermonAudio.com in, "Sermons by Bible", you will find that, out of approximately 650,000 current and historical sermons on the website, there are “0”sermons dealing with this great woman. That confirms a striking sacrifice of the inspired words of God, by approx.15,000 speakers! Using the same feature on the website, you will note that Ezekiel 18:25, 29 and Ezekiel 33:17 and 20 wherein God declares that His Way is equal and Our Way is unequal, has also been totally ignored by the 15,000 + speakers on this website. When this number of ministers ignore two key passages of interest to over half of the church (women) one cannot say God didn’t ‘lead them to preach them’. We try to justify a sinful “respect of persons” in injuring the hearts of women by inferring in our churches that God prefers men to women. How could Paul say “neither male nor female” and not infer, “female and bond” in Gal. 2:4-5, as he did with “Greek”?

“ Pastor WJS ”
So the words of God Himself,Jesus, are just as weighty as those of a God-saved sinful man, Paul, in your eyes. But that is not the point! Proper exegesis of scripture is to compare scripture with scripture. The prophets are subject to the prophets, as your beloved Paul says. If our understanding of Paul's words contradict the teachings of many other prophets in scripture we have to balance our interpretation so that it does not fly in the face of the whole counsel of God. Is that not so? Since Jesus nowhere taught female submission, and since God presented Huldah the prophetess as a teacher of men and a king, as well as presenting Deborah, likewise, and taught that God's way is Equal (Ezekiel 18:25-29 and Ezekiel 33:17-30)how then do we find such weight given to the interpretation of Paul when he appears to take away the liberty Christ gives to women? With Paul, then, I concur as he says of the Judaizers, Gal.2:4 ...because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you..." -likewise with Jew, Gentile, male and female! Todays misogynist yesterday's Juda

“ When is equal unequal ”
I was teaching math the other day and was telling the child that for something to be equal to another thing, they have to be the same...if I add something to one side of the equation it becomes unequal. So it was interesting for me to learn that women are equal to men but unequal. And this was told with such 'delicacy'. Why didn't Jesus teach women this? Matthew Henry says women were created equal to men until the Fall. Are Christians still under the rule of Satan and in the Fall then? Has God changed from when He was the creator and decided to keep women unequal even though redeemed?

Praise God that I see that God is still in someone's heart to take a stand against what is being termed "GOOD" when all and sundry knows that homosexuality is a SIN
I am being called an enemy of the church because I dared to stand and say that this is a sin and it says so in the word of GOD

“ Great Sermon! ”
I did not realize how much I missed the first time I heard this sermon until I listened to it the second time. My prayer is that God will show me all the ways I have built an idol to myself. I pray He will help me to correct my thoughts, my speech and my actions so that I will bring glory to Him.

It is time for ministers to examine their own preaching and listen to THEMSELVES!

As a congregant, I am getting really turned off 'sermons' in general because of the following:

Minister is a ranter i.e. Therefore he becomes the subject of the sermon instead of Christ.

Minister does not rightly divide the word of truth...he adds so much of his own opinion that the sermon ends up not resembling the Word.

REPETITION...oh Please! stop saying the same thing over and over...help!

Minister spends too much time criticizing others. i.e. if you don't like TV evangelists or something else, prove by name, individually, that they are in error. No blanket statements, please. I have found at least ONE Godly minister on the TV and many of our ministers would benefit from watching him to see how he:

Really paints us a picture of Christ.
Talks to us as equals instead of preaching DOWN to us.
Speaks in well modulated tones.
Shows a heart of compassion.
Explains how he has learned things from the Word throughout his life.

Our ministers need to seriously ask when they mount the pulpit: Am I changing into a different person as I begin to preach? Am I taking on another persona? Are my listeners as smart as I am?

We need REAL people in the pulpit, not SUPER-preachers.

The Bible disagrees with these Unitarians, etc. for it says:
"MARK THEM WHICH CAUSE DIVISIONS CONTRARY TO THE DOCTRINE WHICH YOU HAVE LEARNED; AND AVOID THEM."
ROMANS 16:17

Who causes divisions? It is these who accuse, as usual..these who blame the fundamentalists of being divisive because they insist on obeying God's Word. The apostates have caused division contrary to the doctrines of the Bible which is the only source of unity that God will accept and in their contrariness blame those who continue to obey God for being divisive.

As Jesus said "The world WILL HATE YOU".

Let's just get used to it... and rejoice as the early apostles did when in the same boat.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Sadly, I see only a few names I recognize under this sermon (and I am thankful for their courage)...where are those who should have signed here? Where are all my leaders who seem to be silent? Have they not heard this message? Are they too busy to listen? I cannot imagine anyone, who knows of the issues, not tuning in, especially to Rev. Foster, to hear his comments. I hope to see more responses in the near future for... "them that honour Me, I WILL honour..." Perhaps they have written privately to encourage Rev. Foster...I hope. There is One whose all-seeing eye has noted those who listened and slipped away without an encouraging note for our faithful Rev. Foster. May God stir up their hearts and bring them with courage to the Godly path. The God of all the earth does right... I fear dreadfully for the Doc and for all of us, who would walk there too, but for the Grace of God. "Let him that thinketh he stand, take heed lest he fall..." May God help us to all be faithful at this time of great testing...and may God Bless Rev. Foster and give him health and strength to be faithful at this very desperate time. Let us all pray fervently for him and that the spiritual fire of God will fall with power on His people.
